The hotel arranged for a taxi to meet us at the airport and then Raffaela met us at the city gate to help with our luggage and to guide us to the hotel. She pointed out some of the main attractions on the way, which was very helpful (we would strongly recommend the short ferry ride to Lokrum to swim and visit the nature reserve). The hotel itself is tucked away in a great location with beautiful interiors, and extremely comfortable and clean rooms (great air con too). Breakfast was delicious and the restaurant looked lovely in the evening. Raffaela had told the breakfast waiter that we were leaving early for a ferry and they looked after us so well, ensuring we could eat early and had a taxi ready to take us to the port. We only wish we had spent more time at 44!

This was an incredible property with an amazing staff. The property itself was beautiful and within walking distance to everything I wanted to explore. The restaurant was great and the staff were so helpful and friendly. I hope to visit this beautiful property and country again!
