"The restaurant Above 5 was wonderful; better than a lot of Michelin resturants I have eaten at and our waiter Maro was awesome. What a great and friendly guy!"

Style of the hotel. Professionalism of staff. Quality of breakfast.
Size of the food top restaurant, but this was unavoidable given the location.

Loved our stay at this beautiful boutique hotel in a perfect location! Breakfast on the rooftop balcony was a highlight - highly recommend. Very nicely decorated (simple, elegant), clean, comfortable room. The staff were at every step very helpful, accommodating, and friendly. We had a glitch in our travel and had to stay an extra night and happily were able to move into another room - the staff ensured a quick turn-around to get into our new room and it was seamless. We were happy to stay another night in this wonderful hotel! Location is up a charming side street, and is very close to one of the main town gates, so very easy to get in and out with our (minimal) luggage to meet our driver and when dropped off.
No complaints. The hotel has no elevator and you have to take the stairs but they make that very clear when you research the hotel. I think for older or mobility impaired guests it might be tricky to be on one of the higher floors, but this is a quaint hotel in a very old city - adds to the charm, unless stairs/heights are a physical limitation for you!!

A small, delightful, authentic Boutique Hotel in The Old Town, perfect to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary. The staff were genuinely friendly, remembering preferences & taking a real interest in their residents. Breakfast was taken in “Above 5” the rooftop terrace restaurant with the most amazing views over the Old Town. Meals were unhurried, lots of coffee refills and good Gluten Free options. Our bedroom 301 was small but had air con, a powerful shower & comfortable bed. Treat yourself to an evening meal. Expensive but exquisitely delicious and so memorable. Thanks to you all for making our stay so special and for the lovely comments on our memory book
We loved everything but a note to potential guests. Lots of steps both in the hotel and Old Town. Phone ahead and staff will meet you at The Old Town Pile Gate to help with luggage. No cars are allowed in.

Right in heart of Dubrovnik Old Town inside the walls. The rooms very well kept
Clearly paying for the location as the rooms are on the smaller side and service inconsistent.

Great location and amazing dinner at Above 5 restaurant. Spectacular views
From the top! However there are a lot of steps to get there so you feel you have early your supper by the time you sit down!
Reception area is small and not really conducive to having a drink from the bar.

Location. It’s within the city walls and so your right where you should be.
Having to climb up 3 floors . Being a unesco site, hotel is not allowed to have lifts or elevator

The location was excellent. The staff was top notch, friendly, and attentive. We will recommend this to others for sure. We will be back. Fantastic experience.
No elevator but they carried our bags. We enjoy the exercise but others may not.

Air conditioner not as efficient as it could have been.

A beautiful hotel with a unique location and sweetest roof top restaurant in the top level. Staff were super helpful.
Nothing but guests should be aware that the historic nature of the property makes for a fairly steep staircase to ascend the five levels. Older guests be aware.

Location
No lift to the room. Struggle for elderly. And need to carry luggage from the Main Street.
4.0 / 10.0
Very noisy, very small room, no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. The TV did not work. The breakfast menu had no prices listed but we were told we had to pay extra for breakfast!! Overall a very disappointing experience.
Very, very noisy all through the night, small room, overpriced, no tea/coffee in rooms, TV not working, extra charges for breakfast! ( with no prices listed for the breakfast on the printed menu!)

Nestled within the ancient walls of Dubrovnik’s Old Town, the location couldn’t be more perfect—everything is just steps away, yet the hotel feels like a peaceful retreat from the bustle outside. The rooms are a beautiful blend of historic character and modern comfort. Tasteful décor, plush bedding, and thoughtful amenities made every moment in our room feel indulgent. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is the rooftop terrace. The breakfast served there, with sweeping views of the city’s terracotta rooftops and the Adriatic Sea, was nothing short of magical. What made our stay exceptional was the staff. Every person we encountered was warm, professional, and genuinely eager to make our stay memorable. Their recommendations, assistance, and attention to detail were impeccable.
Absolutely nothing!

Location was amazing and the staff was full of kind attentions.
One room was noisy and breakfast additions were super expensive
9.0 / 10.0
It was full of character and was spotlessly clean. The staff were very friendly and could not do enough to help you. It was in an excellent position.
The only criticism is that the standard rooms did not have tea and coffee making facilities. This is something that should be included for the price paid.

Amazing boutique hotel. exceptionally clean and beautifully designed .In a top location, literally by the Pile gate in the old city.. exceptional service. Higly professional and very friendly and most efficient staff.
all great.

The location is unbeatable, within the walls of the old town, very close to the Pile Gate
Isn’t great value unfortunately, no coffee maker in the room was disappointing, parking is extra (at the Hilton or further away in town), the room was comfortable but not exceptional, and no view other that to the building next door.
9.0 / 10.0
The location is in the heart of the old town and you do not have to climb any hills to reach it.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
The rooms were clean and well organised.
Breakfast was superb with good choices.
The rooftop terrace was also an excellent location to enjoy the view and atmosphere of the old town.
It was not necessarily a problem, but both buildings do not have elevators. So climbing the stairs everyday might not be the best situation for all.

Pet friendly, location
The cost is too high against what you get… (room usd500, dinner min 300 (only set menu available) and on top, parking almost 100usd few hundred meters away)
This is what you pay for downtown Centre Dubrovnik in the peak season… understood.
The worst was however that the hotel doesn’t serve Croatian wine, beer or even Croatian water!!!
This is just ridiculous and should be checked and forbidden… Hence the rating.

Location was very good and despite being on a busy street with a restaurant just below the sound proofing was good.
There were no facilities for making tea or coffee or complimentary bottles of water. We had to buy these at the bar and given the price of the hotel it was mean not to include them. The breakfast was very expensive and nothing special. Sound proofing between floors was poor, we could hear every movement by people in the room above.

The location is perfect for a short trip to debrovnik.
The roof top restaurant offered great views and a nice atmosphere. But as there is no lift it’s a healthy climb
Breakfast was great, a small choice but everything prepared perfectly
No lifts. But the staff helped me with my luggage.
