A peaceful stay

A very nice place to stay. There are a lot of steps to reach it from the Pile Gate area. A good base for walking into the old town. Very quiet area with small linking streets mostly well lit. Room was modern and clean with a king size bed.A lovely view of the sea. A bakery and sandwich shop at the bottom of the hill. Fridge in room.Coffee making facilities in the hall.

More than a stay i had a wonderful experience

The first experience started with a message from my host Ivana when iam on a flight from Berlin. She messaged me with all the detailed pics regarding property and about checkin process which made it a breeze to find the property and checking inn. During my stay through out when ever i messaged her for any information and help she would respond within minutes and gave detailed information .In my 25 years of travelling i can say that i didnt meet a wonderful host like her. coming to the property it is absolutely in a top most location near the old city. Location wise we cant ask more and for most of the properties in Dubrovnik we have to climb lots of stairs,for this property also we need to climb stairs but only few around 10 from street to property. The room is well maintained,spotless clean and with all support from host u cant ask for a better deal. There is a common space in hall where we can use the coffee machine etc and there if we observe we will find many useful things if we love to use.There are many good top rated restaurants within a radius of may be 100 metres to make the stay more comfortable.

Its not that i didnt like,but if the room size would have been slightly bigger then no need to stay in any five star hotel/luxury property.

Great place to stay close to old town

Location location location it was unbelievable we were just outside the main gate to the devournik Castle Fort it was unbelievable

There are a lot of steps in the city and in this place in particular it's behind the Hilton Hotel and there's on the second floor so for an old person a lot of steps is bad on the knees but it's a great location

We enjoyed our stay in Dubrovnik and would definitely like to come back.

Great location, only a few minutes away from Pile gates. Nice view of the sea from the window. The staff was very responsive, helpful and friendly.

Great Location / Clean Space

Great location in the Pile neighborhood in Dubrovnik. Just have to climb a couple stairs to get there. It’s a hallway of 6 rooms on the floor and there is little coffee area outside in the hallway that is nice. Communication with the property was good

No real amenities other than the room and coffee (which is stated) and there was a more than half day period where the internet wasn’t working and despite repeated texts never got fixed. We didn’t find the bed comfortable but obviously that’s a personal preference

Lovely clean room and great value!

Incredible value given the price of hotels in Dubrovnik. Charming old building right outside the Pile Gate. Very responsive host who was helpful and lovely. Room was very clean and cool and had everything I needed. The room is perfect for a nights stay.

You need to be ready for a couple flights of stairs to the building and stairs to the 2nd (ie third if you’re North American) floor. But frankly it’s a lot harder to get to a hotel in the old town anyway!! So not a big deal.

Beautiful studio in an excellent location with spectacular views

Beautiful, clean room. Great view of Fort Lovrijenac and the sea from the room. Excellent location very near Pile Gate. Ivana was very responsive and helpful.

A great place to stay in a wonderful location.

Location is fantastic. Easy to get to and centrally located to the pile gate. Also it was quiet at night.

We didn’t realize the electricity key card is different than the room key card so we got locked out and had to call the facility to help us up.

Dubrovnik is the place to visit too. Highly recommended.

The view from our room. It’s absolutely fantastic. The cleanliness and the room it’s old building but the room very modern. And the property will guide you and response you immediately. This apartment hotel highly recommended. It’s very closed to all tourists attraction. Dubrovnik I highly recommend to visit and all the restaurants serve amazing and delicious foods especially they specialty’s.

Good location but difficult with heavy bags to reach the location

I like the location & good decent interiors. Beds very quite cozy. Overall looked qualitative rooms. Good access to the main Old town area which is the best part of this location.

There is no lifts to goto your rooms especially with the heavy bags which you normally travel with for a longer duration it becomes difficult to carry them on the steps inside the building. Secondly, you will have to climb up or climb down to reach this accommodation from the main streets to reach this building as this is located inside an old town area and it becomes very difficult without the luggage assistance this property is not assisting with. That is the biggest drawback, otherwise its a good place to stay.

The Location was amazing. The woman I dealt with over messaging seemed very nice and helpful.

Rain shower was brilliant but there's no shower door so the entire bathroom was left soaking after each shower. Wouldn't be as big an issue had the room been cleaned but nobody came to clean the room the second day there.

Pleasant, comfortable and most welcoming

Comfortable bed, room and bathroom facilities were clean, privacy was great, security of room excellent and the great thing was that when I left and was carrying my suitcases along the corridor the cleaner can to me and carried my luggage downstairs from second floor all the way down to the street along a flight of outside stone steps. I thought this was particularly kind and most welcomed.

The perfect stay!

Everything was perfect! The stuff, the location, the room...Spotlessly clean with a beautiful smell and many amenities! I highly recommend it and for sure I will stay there Everything I visit Dubrovnik! Ivana is super helpful and kind! Don't forget to ask for transportation to and from the airport! Toni is a great guy!

Fantastic host and sparkling clean

We had the beautiful room with Cersei wallpaper. The owner was very kind and gave us super suggestions to visit the city. The apartment is 3-5min from the old city, it was sparkling clean and we loved the small attentions: in the hall next to the room, there is coffee, tea, sunscreen, and a bunch of small things you may or may not need. We were able to check in slightly earlier, the host spoke perfect English.. really great stay.

Be mindful if you have reduced mobility: the house can only be accessed through stairs and the rooms are on the second floor (no lift). It was no issue whatsoever for us !!! But if you have reduced mobility it's something to be aware of (Although Dubrovnik itself is full of stairs so if you have reduced mobility you should probably not visit anyway.. or be mindful of it :D) Super stay anyways, just a disclaimer.. :)

AMAZING

The host was amazing. She accommodated our late arrival( landed at 8) and arranged a driver to pick us up at the airport for a great price. The driver was super friendly as well. Rooms were really nice and the location could not be beat. Less than 5 minutes from the Pile Gate of Old City.

Smelly bathrooms and limited service.

The location was good

1. The rooms are on the 2nd floor plus you have to climb a good 40 steps to reach the gate. 2. We were informed that no one will clean the room for 3 days and we have to use the same towel. 3. The bathroom has a very bad smell and there is no way you can manage that, the problem is not with the sewage system ( excuse given by owner) but with the construction of the bathroom. 4. Some rooms don't have curtains. Basically they need to work hard and cannot fool their customers like this. If they want to be part of the hospitality inductry then they need to be more hospitable.

fabulous room with sea view, 2 minutes to the walled town

location was perfect

loved it but I think you should tell people that it is DIRECTLY BEHIND the Imperial Hilton Hotel. The main entrance is just 10 steps up the hill. we had actually walked by the gate and spent 50 minutes looking for the building which was only 5 metres away !!

The property was in a great location, a quick walk into the centre of old town. The room was clean, airy and perfect for our stay. The hosts upgraded us for free which was a special touch! If I ever come back, I would be happy to book Seven Stars Accommodation again.
