The location was not as advertised. The accommodations are run down. The kitchen appliances are divided on 3 separate floors shared in a hallway and stairwell. No Tv as advertised the advertising is false leading

A perfectly located place that couldn't be closer to old town. The gate is just a minute's walk away and there are shops, restaurants and bakeries right outside the door. The room is basic but looks just like the pictures. No frills but great for spending a few nights. Peter was super friendly and picked us up at the bus station, gave us advice and let us keep our luggage the entire day we checked out. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a budget stay!

The room was clean and well equipped with towels, a hairdryer, and an iron. It’s just a few steps from the Old Town. Peter is kind, helpful, and attentive — he arranged for us to leave our luggage after check-out and gave us great tips on places to visit.

The location is ideal, it is close enough to the Gate and Old Town yet just far enough away that you can relax and get out of the crowds of tourists. It is an easy walk to everything the beaches, the City Wall, museums, the docks in Old Town and Lapad, very close to the public transportation and bus tours as well as boat access for a trip to Lokrum island or Blue caves. Very nice area with food and a small market across the street. it is all about location. The host Pero was easily accessed on WhatsApp and he arranged transport to the site when we arrived at the airport about 30 minutes away.

I wish it had a mini fridge to keep drinks cold. There was no kitchen area and no coffee or filters for the electric pot provided. We didn't spend a lot of time in the room we were there to travel and explore Dubrovnik and the surrounding area.

Very helpful host and staff who accommodated my special requests. Super convenient location just on the harbour. Large, modern and clean property. Absolutely perfect.

Perfect room in the heart of Dubrovnik. Steps from the Old City gate and several beach/swimming spots- next door to a viral bakery with amazing late night sweet treats and directly across from a mini market with other snacks and fresh produce. The room does not face the street, so it’s very quiet with a lovely garden view. The host allowed us to store our bags before and after checkout and was easy to reach with any questions. Will definitely stay here again!

This listing needs to be taken off booking.com. This host is a total scammer (read Google reviews for his old listing under Peter's Guesthouse and you will see previous victims of his). I started communicating with this host over Whatsapp on his request and he agreed to let us stay an extra night to be paid in cash as our travel plans changed. He tried to scam us by charging an extra €120 for parking that was locked on our arrival. When we ended up paying a much more realistic price of €40 for alternative parking because of his unresponsiveness to the issue, he insisted we still owed him and became threatening and frustrated with me over messages because he had been "waiting all day" for our arrival (never mind that we got stuck in 3 hours of traffic at the border to enter Croatia and arrived at a very reasonable check in time of 8pm). Then his "staff" were meant to be waiting at the accommodation for us, but were nowhere to be seen. The host would not pick up my calls and help us find our room, and after a while of standing there on the street with all our bags waiting for him I started to read Google reviews about bed bug infestations in the rooms and the host entering peoples' rooms during the night. I decided I would rather sleep in my rental car than risk my safety staying in a place like this. So if you want to pay €200+ to sleep in your car in 30 degree weather, go ahead and book here. Karma will catch up with you one day, Peter. You are a monster. Say whatever you like about me (I've seen your responses to other complainants), the messages speak for themselves.

The location is great and the owner was very attentive and welcoming. They really tried their best to give you the best experience and all the guidance we needed. In the heart of the city, very close to a Pile gate. They had view of this lovely old house!

The room wasn’t cleaned properly. I hope they change the cleaning lady. Nothing against them but they can definitely do better :) Not a place for families.

Nothing

I changed locations (didn't see the original) and it was clean and spacious apartment above a hostel by the cruise ship dock. Good A/C and comfortable bed and lots of bars and restaurants around. Petar was very nice to work with and gave me a ride to the airport more cheaply than a taxi and more reliably than the bus.

When I arrived at the Old City location, I agreed with Petar to move to a different location away from Old City on the other side by the cruise ship dock so that it would be easier to transport me to the airport in the morning. I wish Petar had asked me earlier as I had just paid a cab to drive me when I could have walked to the new location. Petar drove me there and it worked out fine. There was also an explosion of a motorbike at 2:30am which rattled me a bit. I think this new location was a step down.

Not the superior queen room we reserved. The facilities did not match what we got. Way too expensive for what we got. Bathroom door didn’t close at all. Pero was very rude. Terrible stay.

Couldn’t sit out on patio without people smoking and smoke drifted into room. Fan in bathroom was too loud

Clean and spacious with basic but functional kitchenette. Good advance communication with host, and good value for money for the excellent location if you want to explore the old town, which personally I think is over-touristy, but that’s another story!

The only real complaint was the host offering to collect us from the port where we were getting the ferry to. This appeared a lovely gesture and I accepted, until I realised he wanted to charge twice the Uber fare. This for me is not good form and doesn’t leave a good taste in the mouth before even arriving. That said, there were no other issues. @ Peter – Charge the same as the Uber fare next time! 😉

Small Rooms very close to the old City entrance. More importantly 100m away is a motorbike parking space.

Some neighbour is deaf. If you hear Harp sounds don't be afraid. It's not the reaper. It's some kind of jingle from TV or Radio. You get used to it and it seemed someone turn down the volume each half an hour.

Fantastic stay! The location is unbeatable, right in front of the citadel with everything within walking distance. The apartment was very spacious, comfortable, and practical—perfect for a halt. The host was kind and easygoing, which made everything even smoother. Highly recommended!

La ubicación era excepcional, justo al lado del Old Town de Dubrovnik que es la parte esencial de la ciudad

El anuncio incluía en la descripción elementos de cocina, cuando lo único que tuvimos en la habitación es una tetera y vasos sucios. Estaba sucia... Sábanas, cortinas y toallas tenían manchas, y el baño se notaba que no se había limpiado a fondo. A mencionar además que las sábanas eran para camas individuales, no para dobles (no cubríamos los pies!).El extractor hacía bastante ruido (estaba en las últimas). Tampoco nos gustó que las llaves de acceso al edificio estaban al alcance de cualquier persona en la calle, deja mucho que desear sobre la seguridad. Adicionalmente, ofrecían un servicio de parking a 7 minutos a un precio de 32 euros. A última hora nos enviaron una dirección para el parking distinta a 10 minutos supuestamente (en google indicaba 17 y en cuesta). No nos dió buena sensación ya que parecía el parking de un concesionario, así que buscamos finalmente por nuestra cuenta, y al ser temporada baja encontramos uno por 24 euros algo más cerca.

El ingreso pésimo, pasillo oscuro hasta tenebroso. Desordenado con elementos en desuso. El portero eléctrico no funcionaba. La reja cerrada con llave. Nadie te recibe.

Emplacement idéal à 300m de la vieille ville. Propriétaire sympa.

La chambre fournie ne correspondait pas vraiment à la description faite dans l’annonce de booking.com. - la wifi ne fonctionnait pas. - la télévision ne fonctionnait pas.

Lokalizacja

To nie było miejsce ze zdjęć. Właściciel podał inną lokalizację. Brud, brak łazienki i okna. Dodatkowo zostaliśmy pogryzieni przez pluskwy. Obsługa arogancka i nie miła. Czułam się zastraszana, chociaż na koniec właściciel się opamiętał i próbował poprawić wrażenie rezygnując z opłaty za parking.

Das Appartement ist zentral gelegen, nur ein paar hundert Meter von der alten Stadtfestung entfernt, was natürlich super! Ist - und von daher erfüllt es auch schon mal seinen Zweck. Es ist sauber, der Vermieter ist sehr nett - und da es mitten im Zentrum liegt, ist es von der Lautstärke her sogar überraschend angenehm. Alles in allem ist das Appartement zu empfehlen.

Das Preis / Leistungsverhältnis ist grenzwertig, für die Größe und Ausstattung ist der Raum echt überteuert - aber naja, Dubrovnik ist in den Sommerferien einfach von Touris übersäht - und von daher funktioniert das Konzept.
