The host, Lena was so helpful. She replied to all our requests.
We loved how quiet the room/area was.
The amount of stairs to get to the property. We had a lot of cases and they were heavy - getting to the top of the stairs was an experience!!!

Beautiful garden.
Property is tucked away from the busyness of the city, but close to the center and public transportation.
Walking distance to old town, port, many restaurants and 'pick-up spot for day tours'.
Room is quite small. We find the bed is tight for 2 people :).
Only kettle is provided in the room, no coffee maker.
There is a cozy main dining room, I suppose that's why only minimal supplies provided in the room.

good base and location for exploring Dubrovnik
Nice garden to eat and drink in
(You need to be fit for the number of steps to the property then walking back from town up many steps from the centre)
hotel difficult to find as no sign anywhere in the road, street or building
Neighbours dog barking a night and early morning
Didn’t know it was a cash only payment (it may have been in the small print on booking.com but we couldn’t find it and as we didn’t get checked in on arrival we didn’t have time to get cash on leaving- and the nearest ATM was broken, this caused an avoidable issue for the owner and ourselves
