Villa Katarina

This place was a great location just a few minutes walk to the city walls - there's a cut through the subway and its 1 road down. Closr walking distance. Safe behind a locked gate and extra security on the door also. Fridge in room. The family were very friendly. The room was good and comfy bed. Powerful shower. This was good value for money in comparison of other local places. The beds out the front were good to relax in the sun after a busy day in the city.

The wifi didn't work the first day we got there- but the family did let us have theirs so it wasn't a problem in the end.

What’s not to like? Beautiful surroundings and the largest terrace I’ve ever seen . Very Clean and only a 10 to 15 min walk to the old town / castle. Overall , My son and I were both impressed.Don’t hesitate this is a great deal!

You need to climb a lot of stairs to reach the property

The villa was quiet, secure, and clean. We wish we had the opportunity to make use of the outdoor loungers and sunchairs in the shared patio area. AC was strong and worked. Was a convenient 15 min walk from the Dubrovnik Pile Gate (albeit a lot of stairs)

The apartment was small! For two, it will be quite a squeeze especially with baggage on the floor. There were ants in the bathroom, even though we didn't eat in the apartment. When we asked our host for taxi services for an early morning flight from the airport, she was really slow to respond, so I wouldn't expect too much help from the hosts. Towels weren't left for us in the room, which we had to mention to get. Considering the price we paid for our stay in Aug, we were expecting a bit better. Also- be aware that there are stairs leading to this accommodation, which wouldn't make this a good choice for those with issues climbing stairs or minor injuries! Even if you were to take a taxi to this villa, expect to climb stairs for another 1-2 mins from the street and then another 1 flight of stairs once in the complex.
