Dubrovnik Rooms

The hosts were nice old local guys, keen to help.

The rooms and baths could be more clean, and the location is quite far from the old town and accessing there is tuff (big hill!)

Close both to the old town and the bus station. There were also a few bus stops nearby (I recommend using Libertas Dubrovnik app to save up on taxis). Generally clean and thoroughly equipped. Beautiful view from the balcony (Lapad and sunsets).

The air conditioning worked poorly and it was difficult to bear the heat.

The room was comfortable and had a spectacular, dreamy view. The kitchen was well equipped with different cooking materials for use.

The property was located up many flights of stairs which was a bit difficult with our luggage.

The views are what sells this property because they are why people come here to Dubrovnik, getting to the property other than by taxi is quite a hike u hills and steep steps. But we are two old backpackers. The room was large enough but, if we had been staying longer, did not have anywhere to unpack anything, even your toiletries. There are facilities close by, small supermarket and bars/restaurants but remember Sunday is a day of rest here not like the UK and shops do close. The kitchen facilities are adequate and would cater for the number of rooms. The WiFi was strong which appeals to a lot of people these days. Communication from our host was prompt and helpful but if you do catch the number 8 bus ask the driver to put you off after the Cafe Bar Punica, then it is up the steps, cost 2.5 euros for the ticket.

We are here out of season so it is to be expected that we were the only ones staying but the room was very cold and took a long time to heat up when we arrived back at 1800 hrs.
