The view from their balcony is worth climb or you can just take a Uber to get there. The host is extremely kind. She prepared the snacks and cold water when we arrived. And she also helped us wash the clothes and folded them so well (laundry is charged extra, 10 euros, totally fine with it). Although we only spent one night there, but the experience was amazing. To get to the bus stop, you need to go down some stairs. We like walking to the old town.

The view is lovely and everything was clean. It’s a private house and 2 rooms are for rent but they are located near the entrance so you don’t interact with others a lot. The bathroom is just across the room, clean and comfortable. The air conditioner works well and there is a fridge inside the room. A host was lovely

It’s located on the steep side of the city so there are a lot of stairs to get there. If you have a suitcase/ small children/ or it’s the middle of the hot day, take a bus #3 from the Pile Gate or from the Gruz station and go to the Tivatska stop or take a taxi. I am a healthy young girl with a backpack and I was fighting for my life on those stairs at midday in August. The distance is not too far, maybe 1,5 km but I wish I knew about the bus before getting there in +40 Celsius (my fault, should have read the instructions that the host had shared). At night it was okay as the temperature was lower and you get used to the stairs that are everywhere in Dubrovnik.

Juice and biscuits on arrival a nice touch, and coffee in the mornings. Very clean and tidy, with friendly hosts. Outdoor kitchen had good utensils and tea. Comfortable beds and great to have air con and a fridge in our room. Take the number 3 bus from Pile gate Old Town and get off near Tivatska Ulica to avoid walking up lots of steps. It's about a 20 minute walk down to Old Town! Gorgeous view from Terrace- amazing sunset.

Communication was a bit lacking- I asked a question about bus transport a few days before check in and didn't hear back. We didn't have a way to contact the host and didn't see them around very much, which lead to a misunderstanding about laundry. Written instructions about the way to the city, the relevant bus routes and the extra fee for laundry would have been particularly useful to us.

Host was very nice and helpful. Place is not far by a walk from old town.

There was moldy smell in the room and there was mold visible in the air conditioning indeed. It was quite loud in the room because of other tourists in the neighborhood.
