Perfect for solo travellers

Super nice location. Can easily walk there from the bus station, as well as ca 25min walk to the old town. There is a nice bakery nearby and also a big supermarket 8mins away. There was a an access to a terrace from my room where you can have a drink or smoke. The host was super nice and let me check in early as the room was available.

The rooms are no sound proof so you hear every cough in the other rooms. It can get a bit cold in the evenings when I travelled there in October.

Correct welcomed by the hosts, good information, quick response. A lot of kitchen facilities provided, clean room, nice view over the city, good bed, 2 toilets possibility quick wash in the room.

The cheapest I could find in Dubrovnik that wasn’t a hostel and that was close to the port. It was clean and the host was super accommodating as I arrived at 2am.

A single room has the internal fan/aircon that sounded like a pneumatic drill. I had to turn it off, which made the room v hot - but it was one or the other. Maybe the other rooms have cooling units from the 21st century.

Clean and comfortable

Cleanliness of the WC and property in general. I like the terrace. Catch bus 8 from the station and get off at SIPCINE. From there cross the street and turn right and walk a few meters until you see the street name, I think it's the second stairs street and go up until the second property on your right, keep climbing until you reach the end of the building. Ask Mr. Bradas, charming and friendly host, to send you his What's App number. He's very good at answering instantly. There's a Tommy mini market downstairs. However, it's best to walk a bit further to a mall where you find a better stock Tommy hiper market (with ready to eat meals), a healthy shop (Bio bio), and bakeries. There's a good restaurant, Urban & Veggie, down the hill, too. Bus 8 also takes you to the Old Town and to the Platanus airport shuttle where you can also pay for baggage storage

Limited space to hang clothes. It has a limited hanging rack behind the door.

I liked the location. It was far from the old town but closer to a lot of nicer beaches that were easily walkable.

there was no divider on the floor between the shower and the rest of the bathroom so water would go everywhere while showering

OK but far too many messages beforehand

Easy to find with clear instructions. The terrace was nice (please note the photos show terrace in full sun but there is a full shade over it now which is helpful). Sharing bathrooms were not as bad as expected and it’s 4 rooms to 2 bathrooms.

It seemed expensive for a very small, basic room with shared bathroom. A bit noisy with door slamming in the late evening. The most annoying thing was the number of messages sent beforehand by ‘direct booker’ with links that didn’t work or took me to incorrect places. All a bit too impersonal which was a shame.

Two nights outside of the Old Town

The terrace is nice, no significant view, but I find it peaceful. There is a restaurant and a super market close to the guest house. The host was cordial.

One of the toilets are tiny. The bus stoppage is nearby if someone travels from main station, but not so true if anyone returns from the old town.

Great stay, would reccomend

We had a private room which was clean and had everything we needed. It had a mini fridge and a sink which was very convenient. The shared bathroom was also kept clean. Overall great stay

You have to walk up a bit of a hill to get to the property but it was manageable.

Steep side road to building. Then a few flights od steps. I have a mobility problem and use a walker. No mention of this and when the young woman eventually came down to see who was pressing the bed she didn't help. No one was around in the morning to help.me leave.

The owners were so helpful. The room was perfect and I had a great stay!

The owners were wonderful and very helpful whenever I needed something or had a question. The room was perfect for my stay and was very clean. They were very attentive to the guest's needs and cleanliness of the unit as a whole. The location is around a 25 minute walk to Old Town and the walk was not bad at all. There is public transport to get you to Old Town as well. The owners are helpful in providing that information. The location in itself was located near supermarkets and restaurants. I would recommend staying here!

Property itself is nice. Communication with it before actual arrival was horrible. Have extra money for taxis saved.

The property itself was very clean and overall okay. Good internet, some tea. Nice owners.

Main problem: communication with the property before my arrival was HORRIBLE. It was supposed to be through an agency via booking. They sent me default messages to follow a link to check in, but the link was not opening and nobody was answering me on my texts and requests to fix the link. Eventually, I had to ask my Croatian friends with Croatian phone numbers to sort it out for me. It was also really far away from the old town - 25 minutes walk uphill or so. So I spent a lot in taxis because I already walked a ton in the old town during the day and couldn't walk more, especially with luggage. So my 60-Euro stay became at least 85-Euro stay. And I was there for a day and a half. Bolt taxi from old town to the property is 6.5 Euros.

They run this hostel with Family and all of them are so nice. They gave me some grapes they plant when I leave even though I don’t understand Croatian language. A room is so clean and shared bathroom is also perfectly clean! It’s impossibly cheap price to have a private room like this hostel in Dubrovnik I guess.
