Guest House Ljubica

It is very near the old city, just a short walking distance.

First of all, we have been told to pay strictly cash which was not mentioned on the website. Second, the place is managed by old lady, she is kind, nice and lovely to us but I think she is the one maintaining the property, it seems facilities are quite outdated. Budget wise it’s good for comfort and safety. Also, very walking distance to the old town.

It’s a good walk up the hill from the city center and it is about 20 minute walk but also on the bus line. Room was nice and quiet with a couch and attached patio. It sounds like from the reviews all the rooms differ. We had a private bath with a window high up in the shower that opened to the patio. No one can see in and it didn’t bother us. It’s in a neighborhood with the locals and talked to a lady that lost her grandmother and mother in the war. The bed mattress was not firm and should be replaced soon. However we slept well and enjoyed our stay. The landlady was very nice. Overall a great value for the price. If you are picky pay more for something else. At the bottom of the hill is a wonderful restaurant that looks like a museum or government building. I wish I could remember the name but it’s worth finding. We had a 3 course 5 star meal for a reasonable price.

Could use a firmer mattress

Good location, about 15mins from both the marina and the old town. The lady running the place was lovely, very kind. I had a nice big shared balcony.

Not the most comfortable bed or pillows, the interent didn't work the first night, and when i went to use the cutlery it has someone else's yoghurt on it.
