Eine tolle Unterkunft mit viel Stil!

Wirklich eine sehr saubere Unterkunft, hat gut gerochen, die Terrasse und der Garten sehr einladend, sehr ruhig, ein extrem freundlicher Gastgeber (vielen Dank dafür - ist nicht selbstverständlich), sehr gute Ausstattung (Küche, Schränke, TV, WLAN...).

The perfect Salzburg stay

This was the perfect stay in Salzburg! I’ve been several times but this one was the most memorable because of the Villa Maxglan experience. Hubert was attentive, pleasant and warm in his welcome- we felt like we were being hosted by family. The home is large and so beautifully decorated. It has a gorgeous garden and is located right next to a farm where you can get fresh milk and eggs! Close to a brewery and a few minutes drive from the city. I highly recommend it!

Gediegen in Salzburg

Besonders herzlich, ja fast familiärer Kontakt. Sehr große Wohnung im EG mit 3 Schlafzimmern, gut ausgestatteter Küche, Bad und separatem WC. Der Parkplatz ist im Innenhof, hinter einem selbst schließenden Tor, umgeben von hohen Bäumen - sogar einem Kiri-Baum. Die teils namibianische Einrichtung stimmt auf Urlaub ein. Im Kühlschrank waren schon kalte Getränke und frische Eier direkt vom Bauern nebenan. Sehr vorteilhaft ist die Lauflage zur Stiegl-Brauwelt und 15 Minuten zu Fuß bis in die Altstadt.

Leider mussten wir nach ein paar Tagen wieder weiter... Und leider hatten wir Regenwetter, deshalb habe ich keine Fotos.

The lush gardens really made for a feeling of being on vacation. This place is wonderful.

The owner, Hubert, spent some time with us and made sure we had everything we needed and gave us great recommendations for eating, Postal Service, transit, etc.

Sehr schöne, gepflegte Ferienwohnung in ruhiger und dennoch gut erreichbarer Wohngegend

Die Unterkunft liegt am Stadtrand in einer ruhigen Wohngegend in der Nähe der Stieglbrauerei und einem Biobauernhof, wo man Milch und Eier kaufen kann. Wir sind einmal zu Fuß ins Zentrum gegangen, das ist ein sehr schöner Spaziergang abseits von Straßen (durch die Fußgängerunterführung vom Mönchsberg von ca. 40 Minuten). Die persönliche Kommunikation zum Vermieter ist einfach, die Ausstattung im Haus ist sehr komplett. Nett ist der Willkommensdrink im Kühlschrank. Kaffee und Tee sind vorhanden. Sehr schöne drei Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss mit einem Blick ins Grüne. Bei schönem Wetter wäre die Terrasse mit Blick in den sehr gepflegten Garten sehr gut zu nutzen.

Für größere Gruppen ist ein WC und ein Bad (getrennte Räume) vielleicht ein kleiner Engpass. Im TV konnten wir kein ORF sehen. Aber das sind Kleinigkeiten, die man für die wunderbare location gerne in Kauf nimmt.

Great cozy, peaceful & warm nest at Salzburg

Location, size of place, amenities, cleanliness, garden, quietness, kitchen, toilets, farm near by the villa, and above all this the great hospitality, reception & follow up of the owner. If we come back in the future, we will stay here.

Every thing was fine, nothing we didn’t like. The owner was very helpful even he just lost his wife two months back. We sympathize with him for his loss and hope he go through this soon.

Viehättävä Villa Maxglan ja sydämellinen isäntä.

Villa Maxglan on erittäin viehättävä, puutarha ympärillä on todella kaunis. Huoneisto terassilla oli juuri sopiva meille kuudelle aikuiselle ja yhdelle 2 vuotiaalle. Keittiöstä löytyy kaikki mitä voi kuvitella tarvitsevansa. Naapurissa on maatila josta voi ostaa maitoa ja kananmunia ja käydä katsomassa eläimiä. Lähistöllä on kauppoja ja Stiegelin panimo, jossa ravintola. Julkisilla tai kävellen pääsee vanhaan kaupunkiin helposti jos ei olisi autoa.Autoille löytyy yksityinen turvallinen parkkipaikka pihalta. Parasta oli isäntämme Hubert, hän jakoi vinkkejä nähtävyyksistä, ravintoloista ja ennenkaikkea oli aina käytettävissä. Tullessamme oli jääkaapissa tervetuliais yllätys. Voimme lämpimästi suositella Villa Maxglania!

Pidimme kaikesta, jos saisi toivoa niin 2 vessaa olisi plussaa, mutta pärjäsimme hyvin yhdelläkin.

Absolute Empfehlung!

Der Aufenthalt in der Villa Maxglan war einfach toll! Die zwei Wohnungen waren tadellos sauber und extrem gut ausgestattet: es gab Utensilien fürs Bad, ausreichend Handtücher und sogar flauschige Schlappen. Auch in der Küche war alles vorhanden, was man zum Kochen braucht (inkl. Kaffee). Außerdem sind die Wohnungen sehr schön eingerichtet. Die Villa an sich ist traumhaft, ruhig und im Grünen gelegen. Besonders die Terrasse hat es uns angetan. Außerdem gab es genug Platz, um die Autos zu parken. Der Gastgeber Herr Weinberger hat wirklich alles getan, um uns die Zeit so schön wie möglich zu machen, vielen vielen Dank dafür! Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Eigentlich war alles perfekt. Die Lage ist nicht ganz zentral, aber man ist trotzdem schnell in der Innenstadt. Wer es geräumig und idyllisch mag, ist hier aber genau richtig :)

Villa Maxglan was a wonderful location where we would love to stay again.

Villa Maxglan is an exceptional property. It is located in a safe and quiet residential area of Salzburg on the other side of the stone mountain that divides the city, with the residential area on one side and the old city on the other. It is only a 5 minute drive from the parking structure under the stone mountain where you can park your car and walk into the old city and then explore by foot. Parking at the villa is safe, private and secure -- you can park in a large courtyard to the side of the house that is hidden behind the back wall of the front car port -- drive up, push a button and the back wall opens up to let you in. The courtyard has parking for 5+ vehicles and is securely off the street. The villa is attached to a larger house with other residents but we didn't see or hear them during our stay. It was very quiet. The villa is spotlessly clean, well maintained and tastefully decorated with beautiful original pieces of art. Downstairs features an up-to-date and well appointed kitchen with eating bar, a dining area and a large sitting room with two comfortable couches. There are also French doors opening onto a small terrace with an outdoor dining area and small garden with sculptures. It is a beautiful sight and very relaxing. Also downstairs is the WC and separate bathroom with combined tub/shower. The bathroom is good sized and updated. Upstairs are three good sized bedrooms with queen sized beds and armoires, with good ventilation from the windows. Everything was clean, quiet, comfortable and beautifully decorated. We also met the hosts who were very nice, gracious and responsive to questions and requests. This is a highly recommended, exceptional property.

The only particularity that I would point out (and it's not a dislike), is that only two of the upstairs bedrooms have access to the hall and stairs. To access the third bedroom, you have to go through one of the other two. Not a big deal, but something to point out -- and it's perfect if you want to monitor children.

До приезда получили подробные видео инструкции о расположении,парковке и внутреннем описанием дома.Хозяйка была всегда на связи,готовая помочь и дать советы. Сам дом очень уютный,теплый со множеством милых деталей декора,окна с красивым видом.Чудесный небольшой садик.Район очень тихий.В 200 м хороший супермаркет "Spar",минут 15-20 до ресторанов. До центра города около 3км,мы ходили пешком. Остается впечатление,что остановился у хороших знакомых. Продумана каждая мелочь:несколько видов чая и кофе,сахар,специи,масло и т.п. Шампунь,гель и соль для ванной,крем лосьон,тапочки,салфетки и т.п.Зонты. Единственное уточнение-вход в одну из спален через другую спальню. Нам очень понравилась вилла,и мы рекомендуем его для проживания в Зальцбурге.

Impressive stay

Villa is a very beautiful, neat, and comfortable apartment. We and friends all love it! Ingrid is responsive and very nice. She introduced a short trip plan in Salzburg to us and told what we could look around nearby. We got the fresh milk and bought beers as she recommended. We hope to be here again!

Quiet and clean with beautiful garden

It was quiet and clean. We liked that there were 3 bedrooms. We had a car so town was very close and convenient. Unfortunately I left a lot of my lulu lemon clothes by accident.

I wish there were more pillows… (only one per person was provided).

The accommodations were very nice and we enjoyed our stay. The recommendation of the brewery for dinner was a great one and we appreciated it. The neighborhood was lovely.

The location was a little far from the part of town we were touring. We had to drive in and park all day. That was our problem, as I knew the location when I booked it.

The landlady was very enthusiastic and gave us milk from local farm and advice on local attractions. There is everything in the house. Even the kitchen has essential equipments and seasoning for cooking. I was surprised by the free Nespresso capsules and coffee machine. It actually felt like home.

Spacious, warm, and very well equipped. The house was very clean and Ingrid our host was very helpful in recommending restaurants and activities and in helping make bookings. There is a lovely courtyard and handy off street parking that is complimentary.

The trade off for the spacious family accommodation is that it's location is not in the town centre, though an easy walk through the fields to the altstadt. Being next to a popular local dairy was great in procuring eggs and milk, though our host was kind enough to have supplied some on arrival. A minor inconvenience is that one of the bedrooms can only be accessed via the other two but we found it no big deal.

the location is perfect to enjoy all that Salzburg has to offer. This is a beautiful well designed property. But the very best part of this stay is the host. She made sure that we had everything and more for the stay. We brought our granddaughter and she had toys for her and other special items. Just a awesome host
