The hot tub is not working and it's time to take that off the description-apparently it is never working. Terrible location near nothing. There is a full breakfast, but it is not "included", you pay at least $20 per day for it, since the hot tub does not work and there is nothing nearby, they should give you something included. The woman working the breakfast was nice, but it really wasn't tasty, very bland. There is a "smoking patio" and I found that shocking in California. I forgot a couple things (razor and comb) and I aksed if they had anything at the desk and they said no. They charged me a lot to buy a comb.You have to get in your car to go anywhere to get anything. I made myself eat the breakfast the first 2 dasy, and then bought some stuff and stuck some coffee in the fridge. When i woke up to get it, it was all frozen solid. I brought the coffee to show the front desk and the General Manager said "no, can't be, must be settling". ??? I showed it to her and she denied it. Depressing location near railroad tracks, no cafe, no restaurant, "cookies and milk" is a big thing they put under the resort fee. I ate a cookie, not fresh baked. If you have children and they are not charging extra for the breakfast and you can't find anywhere else, maybe. Awful for a solo traveler, rudeness from the general manager, just not worth it. I also found soap scum ( took pictures) and dental floss on the shower floor when checked in. I have traveled to many seaside places in CA and stayed at different hotels, this was the least worth the money. I made the error of paying through a third party and did not realize I could not cancel and then found out about the smoking patio, which was awful-I contacted them in advcance and they would not even tell me the location of it so i could avoid it as smoke makes me sick. I guess they used to have a shuttle, used to have a restaurant.
