Great location for Carlsbad or Oceanside. Very short walk to the Carlsbad shops/bars/restaurants. Very close to the beach as well. Nothing fancy, but perfect for anyone on a budget like me. The room was comfortable and the people who work there are pleasant.

The room was very small, not like pic on site. The bed was comfortable but really high. I had to step on chair to go on it. Top blanket had a hole. Towels were not clean. Had black spots all over. Towel holder had a lot of rust. No hair dryer, no coffee maker. Staff was ok. The train noise was very loud. I won't go back.

I'm told that I couldn't stay there any longer. I had been waiting on my place to be available and you know, took a day here and there or I was there for probably about 2 over two weeks. And when I went to pay in the morning, they told me.. "here's the deal."you can't stay anymore. I don't know why I didn't bother anybody. I work and come back to my room by myselfand it was just really disappointing, and it threw me. So I am disappointed with them. kind of cold, they did work with me sometimes . But they made me feel really uncomfortable about it. So location's great . Uh, environment wasn't too comfortable, the room was fine. Did observe a couple of critters small ones
