We had 3 nights booked and left after the 1st one. We only stayed that night because we were exhausted and it was late.

Messed up reservation. Unwilling to make it right. No kitchen amenities. Furniture was old, paint coming off and drawers/cupboards broken. Dirty bathroom and floors. Room smelled and beds were uncomfortable. No blankets in beds. Only sheets.

Quiet location for the most part

Shower temperature gets warm, but just short of hot (where I'd want it) . Ironically the sink does get hotter than the shower. A fix is needed there. Next to nothing for breakfast options offered There's signs saying no smoking, but the elevator stinks like smoke

Unhappy AND DISGUSTED GUEST

Your grounds are dirty, cigarette butter all over. Not one gardener to sweep up the garbage outside. The "so called picnic area/barbecue was filthy and full of cigarettes. You need new dolly's for luggage. The hotel needs a complete renovation.

I am a repeat guest and pleased to stay there whether it was 5 weeks or 2 days. The staff is amazing and breakfast was served on time, coffee is hot and condiments readily available. Thank you Sahara, Monear, Diana I believe and the entire housekeeping staff.

Smokers need to utilize the wonderful smoking patio area that is provided. I know understand why privilege are taking away. To the pet owners that don't put up after their dogs or the person that was lazy to empty the cat litter bin in the trash can. Empting right outside the door of high traffic is unacceptable.

Location to why we were in the area.

Filthy, horrible smell through hotel and room. Homeless people in area. Mold in bathroom. Not cleaned well at all. Countertops still dirty from previous guest. We ended up buying cleaning supplies to clean room and air fresheners. Kitchen is not stocked with anything.

Pest issues, seen baby roaches, and spider. Laundry is about 4.50 for washing and another 4.50 for drying. Snacks are about the same price as washing clothes which is baloney because the price of the bag of chips they have in the vending machine typically run about 1-1.75.

Forced to pay for a night even though they didn’t give me a room. Theives

Booked through booking.com and turned up exhausted after a hard days work only to be told they don’t see the booking so I don’t have a room. Rude staff shrugged her shoulders and just walked off. No help, didn’t care, I was just left standing there while she went back to texting on her phone. I still got charged for the room no refund. Luckily was able to find a room last minute at another hotel.

Only thing is the description says there are kitchen amenities available in the room. But we had to request a coffee pot and coffee items and tea from the front desk. Not a big deal,we were fine with it, it's just not an accurate description.

Not somewhere I’d feel safe

We’ve stayed at an Extended Stay before and had a good experience, but this location was very different. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a surveillance camera at the front desk, which immediately gave off the vibe of a hotel in the Skid Row area of downtown Los Angeles. The receptionist was helpful and polite, but things went downhill from there. The hallway on the way to our room was outdated and had a strong smell of cigarette smoke. When we entered the room, it was clear it needed major upgrades. While it was clean, it felt extremely worn down—and there was a plastic bag covering the smoke detector, which made us question whether smoking had taken place in the room. We asked to be moved, and to their credit, the staff accommodated us with another room. Unfortunately, the second room didn’t feel much better. It just wasn’t a place I’d feel comfortable bringing my family to. I knew if we stayed the night, I’d be worrying about our safety. It felt more like a rundown motel than a place designed for extended stays.

Don't waste your money here

The kitchen was decent size with big counter and cabinets. Also a full size refrigerator.

I requested in advance for rooms to be together and they were all the way down the hall from each other. The key cards had to be rekeyed several times. The side door lock quit working. The rooms were not very clean. The stove took forever to boil water. The room and our clothes felt wet the entire stay. The room smelled bad, had to get air fresheners and Swiffer mop to clean floors. I will never stay here again.

I always stay at the Oceanside Extended Stay.

The spaciousness and location of my room. I stayed 1 month and dreaded leaving. The housekeeping staff was amazing and respected my privacy. I had fresh clean linen when needed. The coffee was always nice and hot the breakfast was simple and available.

The side entrances needed more attention to detail. Guests that smoke are selfish to hang out by the entrances. There is a nice smoking area they are just lazy or inconsiderate.

The rooms, hallway rugs, and the stairway needs a deep cleaning it all smells like Urine. There were to many people hanging out in the parking lot and leaving trash on the grounds and also they were always leaving the back door to the stairs opened.

Very calming and pleasant

The breakfast was simple always fresh hot coffee.

There should be better rewards for loyal long term guest. I stayed 31 days was a bit costly I loved the staff, grounds, parking. I have stayed at extended stay on and off since December 24 when I sold my home.

Disappointing

Rooms had an awful smell, we had to be moved but it didn’t make a difference. Bathroom smelt like urine, and overall rooms need to be updated. The one thing I’d say is staff was very friendship and tried to make the best of it for us.
