Budget. Location. Rough around the edges.

Location is amazing. Staff is quick and nice.

Rooms are to the point that you can’t tell if they’re dirty or just really used, both are not good. Doors and door jams are worn and dirty, need painting and repaired. Sink faucets loose. Shower grout stained. Vinyl floor coming up in places. Bed spread was burnt in spots… that was something I’d never seen. I don’t expect much from a budget motel and I’ve stayed here before and don’t remember it being this bad. Fantastic location and with some love could really be something. I’d spend an additional $50 a night to have a nicer room.

No phones in the room to call the front desk, or make phone calls, The tv remotes don’t work well. No breakfast, no vending machines, no washer dryer, and the (owners) husband and wife kept hiking the prices up daily throughout the day using booking.com and other so called discount sites. They didn’t want me to use booking.com and said they would match price.

Great location!

The location is the best part about the motel.

The prices were changing everyday increasing to ridiculous rates with NO motel amenities. No breakfast, No washer dryer, No vending machines, the internet wasn’t consistent. It was going in and out. The tv remotes were not programmed to the tv’s, so it was difficult to change the channels, increase and decrease the volume, or press mute.

Unclean and overpriced hotel for what you get.

Location

It was gross, we traveled with our two little dogs and honestly, I didn’t even want them to stay there. They charge $33 per night, per pet for their pet fee, which is crazy because I don’t know what that money goes to because they definitely don’t seem to clean.. when we arrived we noticed the room had a weird smell to it. The bedspread was full of holes it look like from cigarette burns.. so I tried to pull the top bedspread off and underneath were blankets that look like they had dog hair embedded in them, and the sheets were questionable. I actually went to Walmart and bought cheap sheets to get us through the couple days that we had already paid for . The walls were dirty. The drain was broke in the shower so you had to be careful to not step near the drain because it was uneven, which could be very dangerous, especially for an older person. The toilet paper holder was completely rusted and almost falling off the wall.. There was a seating area outside, where I guess you were supposed to take your pets to go to the bathroom, but there’s no trash cans anywhere. There’s only a little bucket in the middle of that sitting area full of cigarette butts and garbage, no trash cans anywhere else in sight. . The walls were dirty, they still had pencil marks everywhere from where I think they were trying to outline where to hang the TV and it was a very loud hotel. There was also white spray paint in the shower area. You could tell they were just trying to cover up the mold, not cleaning it, just literally painting over it. I’ll never be staying there again.

Overall a great stay

The small studio was comfortable and spacious, and the bathroom was nice and remodeled. The check-in staff was polite and professional.

The small table was wiggly so were the seats. The couch needed a little bit of cleaning, and the blankets did too.

Continently located to everything. We were in room #123 it was spacious and had a small kitchen area. Beds were comfortable and had a pull out couch for extra guest. We were only in the room to shower and sleep so it did its purpose.

Rusty and Dusty

Rusty towel racks, hinges, no remote, mold or chipped paint, broken bed, dirty, floor towels got underside dirty. Cigarette Burns on blanket what looked like poop and blood in different locations and smelled funny. Dusty and Rusty. I requested handicap. was Not handicap accessible and I had to leave the chair outside and no charging available. Ran out of power trying to get to a competition location who gave me exactly what I needed! They were not forcing me to have to risk my life trying to walk when I am wheelchair bound.

I reserved a single queen bed and they put us into a room with two full-size beds. I went back and asked to be switched to a queen bedroom and the room was super small and smelled like cigarette smoke so I told them we would rather sleep in the one that didn’t smell like cigarettes

Had to contact mgr twice to work tv. Then he only tuned in cable channels, no network programming. We were shorted towels, not told there was an ice machine, no ice bucket in rm. Mold behind bathroom sink and base of shower. I use a walker which I could not get around the end of the bed. Don't usually require a handicapped room.

NO ROOM SERVICE. NOT SAFE.

The location is good BUT... The entire stay was a disaster. First, I thought my purse was lost after I went to my room after checking in. I told the manager who went to play outside with his son but he ignored me. The manager brought my purse to me much later that night, saying I had left it on his counter. I discovered $600 missing. When I complained about the missing money he said I should be more safe. I could not see the camera tape. During my 3 night stay, there was NO cleaning, no service of the room, No change of towels unless several requests made, no clean bed linens or service, garbage baskets not cleaned, fridge broken and replaced with a toy, room key problems. When I asked for service I was told to take my garbage across the property to the garbage cans. The excuse 2 days later was "No one comes in if you are not there." But there is no door knob sign and supposedly she only works 11-2. Totally unacceptable.

The staff was very friendly and the price was pretty good for being so close to the village.

It was mostly clean but blankets were stained and had cigarette burns. There was gunk on the walls in a few places. It's older but it does need a really good scrubbing. Super noisy on a Friday night. People were coming and going at 3am. This is fine for younger people, but too much of a party place to bring kids.

Fantastic location and comfortable room.

We stayed in a Deluxe Queen room that had a kitchenette. It was a studio apartment, really. It was so cute and we truly enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect. A little over a block from the beach and two blocks from downtown restaurants and shopping.

Though the room had a full Kitchen, it was completely empty. No cookware, plates, cups, silverware or even a coffee pot. No coffee in the lobby either. Plan to bring everything you would need if you intend to cook anything when reserving a room with a kitchen.
