A gem of a stay

That it was close to stores and Lego land

Room was dirty and the bed was uncomfortable sheets where dirty and the shower was a disaster when you would shower my son almost fell coming out due to the curtains not going all the way down from preventing water to get everywhere. Also water pressure was very bad.

For a 3-star hotel, you are paying a premium for the beachfront, not the hotel itself.

The seafront location, ample size of room, king-sized bed.

Things seemed a little ordinary for a beachfront hotel. Some minor problems: clogged toilet soon after our arrival (fixed), no "clean my room" tag for the door. The swimming pool was closed for unexplained reasons. We might have liked to enjoy the sunshine there.

Very very loud hotel.

Bed was comfortable

Extremely loud. You can hear everyone in the rooms next to you, and anyone in the hallway. And God help you if your on the 1st or 2nd floor. Anyone just normally walking above you sounds like they are stomping. There is only 1 elevator and 1 set of stairs for the whole building. And they are on opposite ends. Very weird layout and the whole hotel had this run down vibe. Although ill admit the king size bed in my room was very comfortable. So I guess if you don't plan to sleep in at all the noise wont bother you.

Perfect location

The pool was perfect temperature and clean and the facilities were clean and it was right across from the beach and the front desk man his name is Andrew. He’s the one that really made our stay feel welcoming and made it a nice stay

Great Stay Overall

Was very comfortable, spacious and clean room. Bed was comfortable, restroom had great lighting, nice and warm water pressure. Breakfast was great and staff was great and friendly. Will be coming back for sure!

-The sink smelt like dirty sewer -The outlets in our room would not hold wall plugs -States free parking but charges for overnight parking -Ac vent would make a loud noise when the ac ran -The bed was worn to where me and my family would sink into the middle at night

Nice facilities but other visitors were very noisy and made it unable to sleep

Loved the restaurant- great food and reasonable prices, good variety.

The fact that people above us were extremely noisy up until 1:30 in the morning during our entire 4 day stay and management was not able to stop them or move us to another room.

Didn't meet expectations

I liked the effort the hotel put in to make the place fun. There were lawn games and a nice patio area and the front lobby was inviting.

There was some type of bad smell in the bathrooms (like sewage) and the beach across the street was on a cliff so you had to hike down to get there. I was hoping for a more sandy experience. The hotel hosted a kid soccer team the first night I was there so no one could enjoy the pool or jacuzzi because there were kids everywhere running back and forth all night. The price for the room was high for the beach view....I could have skipped it. Only one assistant tried to make things better (the guy in the morning) but the other receptionist wouldn't even offer a bottle of water.

One of the very best hotels we've stayed at!

Everything, we were traveling to meet up with family, the room was perfect, the location, the parking, the whole facility, pool, restaurant, bar, the patio outside was absolutely the best! The sunset was beautiful from the cliffs across the street! Also a big shout out to Jay at the front desk and Linda in the restaurant! They could not have been nicer or more helpful and welcoming. Just wonderful people all around! Thank you and we will be back!!!!

Very clean. The courtyard with the games was really nice. The pool is great but cold.

Nothing walking distance. Beach is right there but you have to walk a good minute to be able to walk down it. The staff was never friendly. Rude people staying there. Everything was ridiculously expensive. Pool menu, restaurant, breakfast buffet, and parking so expensive that it actually made us really mad.

Our stat was relaxing and enjoyable.

The location was beautiful and peaceful! The hotel was family friendly with lots of outdoor games to enjoy! I loved the lemon water they provided in the lo by daily.

I didn't like that we had to be a member to get complementary waters. They provided coffee in our room but you needed water to make it. The lobby did have free coffee in the morning. The people above us must have had kids because they were running back and forth when we were trying to sleep. Other than that everyone was great.

The property is exceptionally clean and smells nice throughout the entire interior. The staff is courteous and helpful.

The only surprise was the fact that you have to pay daily for parking, which struck me as odd considering I paid a handsome amount of money for the room, as it were.

Beauty of carlsbad

Loved the friendly staff, the welcoming atmosphere, and fun activities provided for the family.

Parking. They charge approx $27 a day and there arnt any public parking unless you find a space by the cliffs next to the beach but who if the city town after a certain time, there arnt any signs.
