Staffs are very accommodating and very helpful, we just mentioned we’re here again to celebrate my birthday.. and they made it memorable! Since. Check-in was in the afternoon and park closes until 5pm, they reassured we can still go the next day for the whole day. One of the best birthdays I’ve had

We booked Atlantis The Palm through Agoda expecting a smooth and premium experience, but it was the complete opposite. On arrival, we were treated poorly at reception, including by management. We were made to wait late at night with tired children while staff went back and forth, trying to charge extra for children despite Agoda clearly stating that kids stay free. It felt like we were being pressured to cancel our booking and lose our money, which was extremely distressing after paying around ***in full. We selected and paid for an ocean view room but were given a low-floor room facing the parking and entrance area. The room was dusty, and the standard was far below what was advertised or expected from a 5-star property. Service throughout the stay was disappointing. Night staff were unfriendly and unhelpful, and day staff showed little improvement. Breakfast was poor quality for a hotel of this level: fruit was stale and soggy, strawberries were unavailable, and items were replaced without asking. Eggs were not prepared properly. This is unacceptable for a so-called luxury resort. Agoda needs to take responsibility for: Misleading booking details (especially regarding children) Room category not matching what was paid for The stress and confusion caused at check-in Lack of protection for customers when hotels fail to honor bookings This was an expensive booking that delivered nothing close to a luxury experience. Both Agoda and Atlantis The Palm failed in customer care, transparency, and professionalism.
