This place is great for families with small children - It's warm and welcoming and it sort of gives you the "Scottish" experience feelings on the countryside (for those coming from outside the European continent). The small house looks nice and clean - stores are 1 minute away from this house (groceries, pharmacy, restaurants...etc). The bus station is close by (2-3 minutes walk) that takes you to the center of Edinburgh.
It took us more than 20 minutes to find out how to get the keys from locked box. It wasn't easy - specially considering that we came from a long flight (tired, not focused and with 3 kids!) - I'd suggest that you make sure to make this process easier.

Nice property, good location and access to lots of buses into Edinburgh, also handy shops an fast food options nearby. No issues happy with stay and facilities: Clean , warm and functional.
Not much to say all good from my group on this property. Perhaps 3 double rooms and 6 adults present in party having access to just one toilet located in single bathroom was a slight inconvenience. Not a deal breaker however given the property comfort, cleanliness, location, facilities and safety of area.
