Edinburgh Pearl Apartments - Haymarket Residence

Clean ,Good. Location Easy access initially

No problems

The apartment was big, clean and above all, well situated to see Edinburgh. We used a combination of trains, walking and Uber to get around using this as a base of operations and it was very easy and convenient. Rooms were of a good size and having two bathrooms was a very welcome feature for all of us. Parking being included was a great bonus too as Edinburgh parking is expensive so to be able to leave the car safely for the duration of the stay was very welcome.

The apartment is in a residential apartment block and the floors / walls are very thin! We could hear other residents moving about above us and it does make one a bit self-conscious about whether they can also hear you. The other issue, and it may sound trivial but in this day-and-age I don't believe it to be, was the quality of the Wi-Fi. We wanted to book trips and things, but also 'sold it' to the kids that when we were back at the apartment they'd be able to chill out and maybe watch some content before we headed off for dinner or an evening out, or before bed. Sadly the Wi-Fi was just awful - patchy connection and when you did connect, if more than one device used it, nobody else could. It really was poor.

Beautiful spacious apartment, near to a lot of amenities and a bus or taxi ride into the city centre.

We loved the property but maybe a few more toiletries as there were 5 of us

The location is nice.

They just don’t care after the booking. If you have an issue then sorry no help is coming. The WiFi never worked so neither could we work or watch the TV. Their solution turn router on and off. Didn’t work. We were there 2 days. No correction to it. And no compensation for a 450 GBP per night they need to up their game. It’s horrible.
