Excellent location but needs tlc

We were in flat 1/5. For some strange reason the double bed is not in the master bedroom but in one of the small rooms with the boiler which was loud. Just the bare minimum facilities, no food and minimal cooking. Toaster broken. Old TV no Internet. Slow WiFi. Meh.

Brilliant, clean, spacious apartment.

Very clean. Comfy beds. Well equipped Kitchen. Nice shower & bath. Close enough to town centre to walk but also just off main road with plenty of buses.

Needed somewhere to hang coats. There were lots of cupboards but no rails or hooks.

We would absolutely stay here again. It was a fabulous experience.

The apartment was fantastic. I was in a group of 6 women and we had a bed each. All the beds were very comfortable, the apartment was super clean and the location was amazing- just a few minutes from the trams and only 15 minutes from the airport. We arrived late on the Friday night and were able to collect our keys from a lock box close to the apartment. Showers were great, plenty of hot water and the apartment was lovely and warm.

You could hear the residents above as they walked around at night but there's nothing you can really do about that. They weren't being exceptionally loud you could just hear them moving.

Great family apartment and location

Loved the modern feel of the place, parking availability and proximity to city centre

Tv and WiFi. The TV wasn't a smart TV and signal was very intermittent. Location had WiFi available but the more devices on it the slower it became and when trying to stream on a laptop it was quite slow and buffering

Spacious, clean apartment

Spacious apartment with very comfortable mattresses and exceptionally clean. The location was good for tram transport (around the corner, Haymarket stop). Lots of little newsagents and small cafes close but found the larger Tesco Express in the newly modernised plaza area adjacent to the tram stop (the area is in the throws of being updated). We walked into the city centre in about 25 minutes.

As dark on arrival, it did feel a little salubrious. Sure will soon get better lighting and modernisation of area will be finished. The ekectric shower was a bit hit and miss with heat, but the other shower was great. Unfortunately, it the neighbours above can be heard moving around quite clearly, which made sleeping until early hours difficult on the second night. Laminate flooring doesn't soak up noise, and the flats have this throughout. Sure below were disturbed by us moving around, too, at night and on our morning if departure.

Excellent location & good value for money

The apartment was fully equipped and lovely and clean. Instructions on how to obtain keys etc were really clear. Location is superb - 15 min walk into the centre or 2 tram stops if you’re feeling lazy. Lots of places to eat around by the apartment too.

One of the bedrooms was a little cooler than the rest of the apartment but this wasn’t enough to cause an issue - the radiators probably just want bleeding.

Highly recommended

Excellent location and the parking permit was ideal. Lots of shops, cafés and restaurants. 2 minute walk to Haymarket. Host was fantastic and the apartment very spacious. Highly recommended thanks.

The bedroom with en suite had 2 single beds. A small double bed in that room to replace one of the single beds would be ideal.

Really lovely apartment, spacious, clean and well equipped. The location is amazing, 5 minutes walk from Haymarket station with lots of amazing cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance.

Warm, cosy, spacious, very clean, very well equipped, excellent location

We loved everything about the apartment, it was on the ground floor which was perfect as we had our elderly Mother with us. The apartment was clean, spacious, well equipped and convenient to tram station, also within walking distance to Princes street. We arrived late evening and the heat was on in the apartment, lovely and warm and cosy. Would highly recommend

Clean super spacious spectacular location

Unreal location and brilliant space inside the appartment. Incredibly clean and modern. Bedrooms were massive and even one twin bed room came with an ensuite. Ideal for 8 guests.

A perfect to stay while visiting Edinburgh if you are group of 6 people.

The property is very spacious and it has everything that’s required to stay comfortably during vacation. Location is added point as it has many shops restaurants around it and also very close to the central Edinburgh.

The exhaust fan for bathrooms didn’t work when we stayed

A brilliant place to stay for family gathering before Christmas.

The apartment had everything that we needed. It was in a great location and within easy walking distance from Edinburgh city centre. Our host was really attentive even though we didn`t have any additional requests. It was very quiet and we had no disturbances throughout our stay We would definitely stay there again. Thank you!

Great apartments in good location

Apartment was lovely. 6 of us stayed, plenty of room for everyone. Kitchen with all the facilities we needed. Close to the tram line which was only two short stops into Princess Street. Lovely quiet location, beds were very comfortable. Keys ready in the AM for collection so we were abke to check in as soon as we arrived. Would definitely stay again.

Really close to haymarket station Walking distance to princes street Lots of restaurants catering for all palates. Really spacious apartment with all amenities needed for an enjoyable stay.

Water pressure for Bath was slow. Could do with a paint in places. Couple of kitchen drawer fronts loose and worktop marked. Had to buy batteries for tv remote.

A very roomy, comfortable apartment. Very comfortable beds. An excellent location, very close to the station, tram and buses. As an added bonus there are some exceptional restaurants nearby.

A great family apartment for a few days exploring Edinburgh

This apartment worked perfectly for our family of 4. 2 adults and 2 older children. 3 bedrooms so they could have a room each. The beds and beddings were all really nice. The apartment is large in size. Plenty of space in the living room and kitchen which isn’t usually the case. Fully equipped with all the basics that you need. It’s a nice walk into the centre of Edinburgh and nicely positioned for heading into either the old or new town. Alternatively it’s even shorter to Haymarket Tram stop and then only 2/3 stops into the heart of Princes Street. There’s a coop 5 mins away and a few independent restaurants/coffee shops too

Not much to dislike to be honest. Maybe the entrance and hallway are a little dated. It might make more sense to have the double bed in the bigger room with the en-suite but maybe the twin beds wouldn’t fit as nicely in the smaller room? A coffee machine would be a bonus as would a smart TV in the living room.

It is clean and staff responses very quickly if we have queries. The location is very good as well and we had a pleasant experience because of this. Parking area Is very much a plus, allowed us to relax not worrying about our vehicles at night.

Nothing major, a smart tv but not a deal breaker. Everything else is great.

The location was ideal. The apartment was very comfortable.

The oven and hob need attention. Dials are not easily visible and needed to switch off at wall to ensure off. Only one hob ring worked at a time. The double bed should be in the larger bedroom

A large, clean, quiet flat close to center of town.

The location just off Dalry road is excellent. The bedrooms were good size, kitchen and living room great room was huge. Kitchen was well equipped although we didn’t do any cooking. Very quiet and clean, which are my two biggest requirements now. Only a 15 minute walk from Haymarket station. Several excellent restaurants on Dalry and a good Italian grocery “fruttivendolo” with gelato and pastries. Go to the Pearl Apartments office on Dalry to get the key. It is directly opposite the intersection to Dalry Gait.

Large Apartment in the heart of Edinburgh

Location was absolutely perfect. Just a 10-15 min walk to the castle area and the Royal Mile. We appreciated the kitchen and all its amenities. There was a Lidl within 10 min walk to get groceries. Tons of room for the four of us. Haymarket train station is only a 5 min walk away.

This is not something that can be controlled by the apartment owner, however know that the doors in the apartment are self closing and tend to “slam” especially if it’s the resident above or below you.

Ideal, will use again

Good location a couple mins from Haymarket, easy to get the bus/train or walk into the town centre. Rooms were good size and beds were comfy. The living room had a basic TV, fridge and cutlery

The property was grand but unlike a hotel, you are restricted by how long your bags can be looked after on the departure day, so had a few hours dragging our bags about. We were offered a couple hours so wasn't entirely laborious
