Perfect peaceful hotel away from city centre

The location in the forest next to a river the surroundings really nice and peaceful . Breakfast and Dinner was good and staff friendly Monica helped us at dinner time. Hotel accommodated a vegetarian diet. Good rooms clean.

Distance to city centre, a lot of money each day using taxi’s. Tour operators don’t pick up from hotel so need to get taxi to city to go on tours. Hotel only offers one tour company. Hotel is perfect if you have a car but be prepared to use uber or bolt app a lot.

New year’s eve in Rovaniemi

Standard bedroom was nice and clean. Breakfast is ok. The location, south of Rovaniemi, is just alongside the river with a lot of free space to enjoy the nature just behind the hotel. There is a fireplace you can light up on your own and a private sauna with ice dipping you can rent. The riverside is the perfect place to go and see the northern light. Staff is very nice and friendly,always available. You can book a number of activities with pick up directly from hotel reception

It’s a nice classic hotel with cozy mood. I like the interior design. Perfect riverside accommodation.

The rooms are not really insulated noise wise, so you can hear if your neighbour is snoring.

Nice hotel to stay with good breakfast included.

Nice hotel outside Rovaniemi (around 25 mins away from airport ) . Not to much modern but clean and warm in cold night’s . Breakfast very nice and restaurant is serving very nice dinner

Beautiful location for a snowy winter wonderland

I really enjoyed the out if town, forest location especially covered on snow and the lake frozen. The hotel staff were always friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The buffet breakfast had a good variety of food and drink options.

The transfers into town and airport were really expensive. I'd hire a car next time.

Very cosy and comfortable hotel away from the city. Lovely location by the river. Rustic and exudes all the vibes of the country. It has a sauna and a laavu which are free to use. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was big and spacious. The hotel has a long history and beautiful charm. I would definitely return again.

You will need a car to access the hotel but there is plenty of parking. There are multiple speed cameras along the way, and this is very common in Finland.

Convenient stop on the road north

The room was nice, clean and modern. A bit of a contrast with the rest of the hotel. The river is beautiful. Lobby has a weird 1970s warm vibe inside and the staff is nice and friendly.

Old, run-down building. Somewhat eerie. Surrounded by parking lots and discarded machinery. It must be much nicer covered in snow or when it's all green.

The room was absolutely 0% sound proof. I could tell when the neighbors received a message on their phone even though it was on silent :( Messed up the entire night.

Excellent stay!!!

The staff was very friendly. We arrived very late after official check-in time and were given a detailed instructions to pick-up keys and get to our room. The room exceeded our expectations because for our long stay at the hotel we were were given free room upgrade from standard double to large double with kitchenette. The breakfast was really good with big varieties of food, were granted with some extra ingredients by the kitchen staff when we asked for them. For one morning we asked for early breakfast in room and were supplied with a huge breakfast box in fridge at the evening before.

Everything was good. No complaints at all.

Good value for money

The receptionist was very nice. The location by the river and the beach was worth visiting. You could lend a kayak or have a swim. The rooms were clean and freshly refurbished. The breakfast was okaish

The AC did not work and there were no handles in the windows so you could not cool the room down. The surroundings were a bit messy.

Dog friendly accommodation with very friendly staff, super clean and cozy room, gratis sauna and parking lot (incl. electricity for engine heater), vegan options at breakfast buffet. The hotel is nicely located next to the (frozen) river, only 20 minutes away from Rovaniemi city center and Santa Clause village.

Pleasant option to stay outside of Rovaniemi in a small hotel with character (in a nice way)

Small older, boutique hotel away from town (Rovaniemi), on a lake (it was frozen when we were there). Fantastic buffet breakfast (included in our price) with lots of choices. Full buffet dinner also available and worth the extra cost to be able to stay in for the evening. Comfortable beds, rooms had been updated well.

No sound proofing between rooms, could hear conversation next door, although the neighbors probably also realized it so were considerate and quiet. No place to put suitcases, had to open them on the floor. No elevator, be aware you will have to take your luggage up stairs if you are not on the first floor.

Wonderful, unique hotel, perfect for exploring Lapland

The location was wonderful. The hotel is on a lake and there is quite a bit of area to explore on the property itself. We were happy to not be in the city.

Overall, we had a wonderful stay. There was a large tour group while we were at the hotel and they took up the larger dining room at mealtimes, which meant the other guests were squeezed into a small room. We realized that we had to get to breakfast early because we ran the risk of not having a table.

Cozy and ideal to disconect

A cozy hotel in a fascinating location, close to a lake (ideal to see the northern lights) and at 17 km from Rovaniemi, the Lapland capital. Rooms are clean and spacious, especially the bathrooms (with great views too!). There is a sauna in the premises and a complete breakfast buffet. We also enjoyed a glass of wine next to the fire at dusk. Great staff.

Breakfast was nice and this time served to our rooms. It was excellent and huge :) Hotel situation was good because I'm a photograpfer and scenery around it is nice.
