At the checkin, we got upgraded to a better room, which was very kind. Our house was very cosy and warm, the beds were comfortable. We loved having a sauna in the bathroom. The breakfast was tasty, varied and the staff was kind and helpful. Beautiful surroundings. Thank you for the amazing stay.
The house was generally clean but we found a used ear bud in the living room and the bathroom could be slightly cleaner, thats why final rating 9/10.

Breakfast was a gorgeous buffet style with a huge variety of hot and cold food, and drinks on offer. Location was exactly what we wanted. Walk out the chalet door into the snow and snow-covered trees, very quiet, but with the benefits of a bar and restaurant. Each chalet has its own sauna which was fantastic. The heating system was perfect and the beds were the best I've slept in, pillows were amazing too. One free daily trip up the chair lift to the ski slopes, the sky hotel and beautiful walking trails. Endless slopes to sledge for kids and adults. I would 100% recommend and we will definitely be back again!

The sauna in the house was very nice, also the heating system was fully operational and you could set any desired temperature inside. The lake is really just behinnd the corner so aurora views are free. The staff is super nice, hotel restaurant dishes are tasty.
Breakfast was OK, plenty of choice, but everyday the same and scrambled eggs or sausages had no taste. In our place the steps upstairs were extremely steep, we had to take them very carefuly. It might take 3-5 minutes to walk to the restaurant for breakfast so remember to dress accordingly. Also the WiFi is very spotty.

Lovely to stay in the northern chalets close to the lake for easy Aurora spotting albeit longer walk from reception (look at location of Winter Sauna business to see location). Incredible breakfasts!!!!! Chalet was super warm even in -36 weather. Fantastic sauna in the room a bonus ease of drying clothes. Kitchen facilities basic and spent a bit more on taxis to stay out of town but great stay overall.
Couldn’t find an open fire to roast marshmallows.

Breakfast had a large spread and lots of good options to include waffles. The restaurant is nice and serves a good dinner as well. Location (with a car) is very nice. Short drive to city and most attractions. Great location if you're going skiing (which we didn't). Front desk staff was nice. Kids liked the playground set and playing in the snow.
Didn't like that trash/recycling and towels were only picked up every 2-3 days. The trash bins are very tiny and for what we're paying, we should be able to get clean towels and our rubbish emptied every day. Same goes for the room cleaning. I went to the front desk twice about blood on the floor (as well as some other trash) that was left from previous tenant. They came in and emptied the trash, but no one ever cleaned up the blood that was left behind. I was pretty disappointed with that. Luckily it was in a place that we could cordone off and stay away from. Even though we got a larger "chalet" it was still pretty small.
The downstairs bedroom is just a weird set up. We had to move the two beds together to make a 'king' bed for us because there's no way we were sleeping in the loft. But because of that, the plug ins, bedding, and furniture were off. We rearrange the furniture but the plug ins we obviously couldn't move. We also asked for bedding that covers both beds to make it feel like a single bed. They did not do that so my wife and I slept close to each other but not in the same bed. There were also two bunk beds in there (folded up like on a train). I have no idea how you would make that work with two more people in there. That room was tiny as it was. It only had a sliding barn door, which was loud and creaky when you opened it (not good for not waking people if you have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night).
I also did not like the staircase to the loft. The stairs are way too skinny and way too slippery. It was very difficult to get even children's bags up the stairs. The stairs are wooden and polished and incredibly slippery even with shoes. Both my son and my wife slipped and hurt themselves on the staircase. They definitely need more anti-slip strips or something on there because it is incredibly dangerous as it stands, especially for kids.

The locations was near Rovaniemi. Right under the ski pistes. So if someone want to ski I guess that is fine
Where to start.
The chalets are NOT serviced. That means
- there is no cleaning service.
- there is no soap, shampoo or anything like that
- you can’t buy soap at the reception either (you have to go to a supermarket
They are utterly inhospitable people in this hotel management :
- the waiters are very polite but they reception is so very inflexible and inhospitable
- we were stranded in Rovaniemi because of a snow storm without anywhere to stay and we requested the hotel to accept us back for the night to stay in the couch and not die from the cold (-15c and snowstorm and ZERO availability to stay anywhere 100km around the Rovaniemi area) and they just denied and said “it’s not our obligation”.
- even if it was NOT their obligation they still had a moral obligation to help us out

It was clean, nice and warm and good location.
The bunks were a bit too high for our 4 and 7 year old, had fear of them falling out of bed.

Everything was just superb including the location. The people at the reception were very welcoming particularly the senior lady on the day of our check-out on 19th March.
Arrangements for baggage handling particularly for elders, would be appreciated. Hauling of luggage over snow for around 250 metrese from the reception across the main street, was very difficult at our age.

It was a typical ski chalet & if there were 4 of you sharing it would probably have been ok, if not a little cramped. The sauna in the shower room was a nice touch. The breakfast was really good and the staff were all pleasant.
It felt tired and dated and for almost €400 per night, we could have stayed in a really nice hotel. I expected this to have beautiful views but it just felt like a semi detached house in a little housing estate. Nothing special about it at all.

the finnish feels while we’re there, your own sauna inside the chalets 🧖🏽♀️🧖🏽♂️, big space for 3 people and the awesome breakfast 🤩
calling taxi every time we need to go somewhere 🤷🏻♀️ 45 mins walk to the center while snowing is not a choice for my children.

the location is amazing and perfect because you could park your hire car next to all the chalets
strict reserved seating for evening meal in the restaurant. there was so much space to be seated. then sat sharing an 8 person table with another family. could be better.

Really liked the chalets overall. They are nice and cozy. The area is lovely and our chalet was located by the lake. There was also a large area where you could enjoy and play in the snow. Suitable if you have a car. Breakfast was delicious.
We were 5 Adults in one chalet. It was a bit small but we stayed for one night so we did not really mind it. We thought that the bunk beds were going to be different as they were to be pulled out from the wall. Would have liked to have some tea or coffee in the chalet.

The chalet was perfect for a small family.
The location of the chalet is very picturesque and we thoroughly enjoyed the skiing experience as well as the stay.
Vegetarian options for dinner menu need to be worked on

The location is great, amazing breakfast and Sauna was also good. Beds are comfortable!
The Chalets were much smaller in comparison to the photos , especially the family sitting area. The shower area in the bathroom was not fully covered at the bottom because of which all the water flowed out into the main bathroom area.
