A fabulous stay but very commercialised.

The cabin was ideally located in the village with easy access to the facilities and shops. The room was very warm and cozy.

The temperature outside was mild for the duration of our stay which made our cabin too hot. Would have preferred a bit more choice for breakfast.

Fairytale feeling, even in October

The breakfast was exceptional: diverse, delicious and clearly prepared with care. The location felt magical, even outside of December, and the peaceful atmosphere made it easy to enjoy everything without crowds.

Perfect

The staff at reception was very helpful from start to end. Our return train was at 5 a.m. and they booked a taxi for us ahead of time and they were very helpful with any question we had. The breakfast offerings were pretty good. Also the food served at the a la carte restaurant was very good and worth every penny. I would definitely stay here if I visit Rovaniemi again. Thanks for everything.

Pretty disappointing stay to be honest. This was supposed to be the highlight of our trip

Rooms ok

Most restaurants and activities closed. So many souvenir shops. Having someone greet the children to find out their name to introduce to Santa so that Santa knows their name would be a simple touch. Staff in Santa’s pizza turned lights off and closed up before 6pm while we were still inside. Customer service all over was not great.

OMG it's Santa Claus Village

Hotel crew was nice and helpful. You can feel Christmas everywhere. Breakfast was very tasty and sweet ;) Children and dog are welcome. Our house was very comfortable, there was little chill, but we can get heater. Parking was next to our house.

All in all, it was a cute experience, but probably a one-time visit for us.

We had a lovely stay – the rooms were cozy, everything was clean, and the atmosphere was charming. A truly magical setting!

However, visiting with kids, we couldn’t help but feel a bit disappointed by Santa himself. Perhaps he’s just not a summer person, and we caught him in his off-season mood.

Our May trip to Santa Claus Village 2025

We were late for our breakfast but the staff at the restaurant allows us quickly grab some food. That was Amazing!!! Thank you! We can move on without breakfast. We love the privacy of Sauna in our room that was Great!

Some shops and restaurants, cafe were closed. Some tours were not operating during May. Was disappointed.

Our Memorable stay

I liked everything, especially the glass Igloo. Our room was really cozy and clean. We were lucky to see northern lights above our room. Owners are very kind and helpful. Property is very well maintained.

overall is good however room for improvement from bus stop to hotel

Breakfast is good .

However walking 200m from the bus stop to your hotel with dirty ,sandy and wet road was not very comfortable. Hotel should have a pick-up at the bus stop or at least make the track clean and smooth for walking . Without snow in April, the surrounding is somehow dusty when vehicle droves pass, not so feeling of Santa Claus home town.

Despite informing accommodation was booked for a special occasion, the arrangements very below avg.

The location has a good vibe. Am sure it would be very exciting during peak season but seems bit overpriced for the offerings and the quality of the accommodation.

1. Breakfast - Not even a single change in the breakfast buffet for the 3 days of our stay. The eggs were never fully boiled. Very limited variety in the buffet. Sometimes tables were not set at the breakfast timings. 2. The view was so ordinary from the room, that too after taking the more premium room. Insult to injury that the room was on 1st floor with very narrow stairs and no help to carry the luggage from reception to room. 3. The room was not made, despite calling the reception and requesting for the service.

The best place to stay if you want to enjoy the holiday village in Rovaniemi

The location is perfect to enjoy the holiday village. It's good to visit when the cold is not that bad like what we did during Easter break. The all you can eat buffet is actually very good and we really liked it. I think that's the best value lunch there as the price is ok.

Beautiful quiant cabins

Staff were really friendly and great location; close to the shops and next to snowman world. Our cabin was close to the entrance so we didnt have to walk far, which was greatly appreciated as we were travelling with elderly parents. We had our own beautiful Christmas tree outside the cabin. We had the cabin with a sauna and that was really easy to use; clear and simple instructions were provided, had enough space for 2 people.

The tv was in a funny location; above the headboard of the beds, but we didn't mind it too much. The bathroom sinks were tiny.

Great Stay in a Magical Location

Excellent facilities all easily accessible. Children (and adults!) all enjoyed the activities on offer. Rooms were clean and cosy. Sauna was great. Close to the airport so short transfer time.

An experience the family will never forget!

The entire village is quite a magical experience and there are several options for hotels, food, souvenirs. My kids loved that there were many sleds available for use scattered around the property. The staff at the main lodge made it easy to book our activities and were patient with all of our questions. Additionally, there are many activities for kids and adults within the villages to keep entertained (petting zoo, kids snow mobile park, reindeer rides, playground, sledding, etc). The village itself is located just a short distance from the airport and main city making it convenient to move around with taxis.

The rooms, although clean and updated, were quite "no-frills". I know you are paying a premium for the experience of staying within the village, however, for the amount you pay it would have been nice to have a few other comforts such as a coffee maker (instead of the instant stuff that was available).
