Good breakfast, but rooms could use an overhaul

The breakfast was outstanding and the staff were very helpful and ambitious to help us.

The interior could need a refresh. Everything looks a bit run down. The a/c, which they said was off, made an ear-piercing whining noise. We complained and they did their best to fix it. The hair dryer was old, dirty and constantly failed. We asked to fix or replace it. They removed the dryer, but didn’t get us a new one. The shower flooded the bathroom within minutes. I asked for fresh floor mats because the one available was soaked, but didn’t get any.

The location and breakfast Room nicely decorated

Very expensive. Small room with tiny shower. Uncomfortable bed. Very cold despite radiator under the window at max level. Lot of cold air coming through window.

It was overall good.

The breakfast was good. Location is close to bus stops to Santa Village. The staff were very friendly.

The wall is extremely thin. We can hear conversations from our neighbors very easily. Luckily, their sleeping schedule was close to us so we were able to sleep well.

Nice cozy Hotel

Good location in Rovaniemi. The breakfast is very good and the restaurant in the evening is great. Nice to be able to store your luggage during the day if you're taking the late train back to Helsinki. Was very pleased with our stay. The staff is amazing.

The room did seem to get a little warm with no really easy way to ventilate it.

Good hotel but small rooms

The location was great, the hotel seemed recently renovated. Everything clean and nice. Shiny white bathroom with fancy taps. Very good breakfast.

Room and bathroom were rather small. Fancy light switches, fancy airconditioning where you first have to study the manual. As business hotel maybe good but arriving with two large holiday suitcases there is hardly room to move. Public areas rather dark with gloomy yellow light.

Excellent value for the money

There is a 24/7 grocery store a block away, many of the best restaurants in Rovaniemi are close, the river is nearby and there are excellent trails along the river if jogging is your thing. A very good breakfast is included.

There was a problem with the TV turning itself on, but the staff came and unplugged it for me. The TV is able to use Chromecast to link with your phone and you can watch Netflix or YouTube on the TV. I just didn't like that I couldn't turn it off and have it stay off.

The room was comfortable. We had all the facilities we needed. Really good breakfast in the morning. Very centrall located.

The window overlooked the car park. It was a bit dark everywhere in the hotel. We had a padded door, which was odd?

Great lounge space

Great lounge area. Great breakfast and location was fantastic.

The room was weird. The bathroom had like a half mirror where you could see into the bathroom from the bedroom and vice versa. You could not turn the light on in the bathroom in the middle of the night because of this configuration and I would light the whole room. Also one wall was like all mirrors. Just didn’t like that.

Nice central hotel in rovaniemi

The hotel is in the central which is really nice, the personal was awesome and helpfull. They gave us a lot of tipps what to do, helped us with the bus and transfer. The room was comfortable, the bed was medium hard, which i liked. In the room, we had shampoo, a hair dryer, and a mini bar. Right on the ground floor is the monta rosa restaurant, i recommend to go there, it was really tasty :D. We also booked the privat sauna, it was relaxing and good for warming up after the coldy walk :D. What i didn't liked was the half mirrored window to the bath, when one of us was sleeping and the other wanted to go to the toilet, the light of the bath would wake you up. Because the hotel is at the centre we could hear the street and we could hear the neighbours, which were quite loud. But overall, i would recommend the hotel

Comfortable, convenient, great value - this was a win after a long day of travel!

Breakfast was plentiful, delicious and fresh. Staff was very helpful especially when my clothing was soaked after an unplanned leak in my survival suit. Everyone was friendly. Close to restaurants, bus and activity pickups. Room decor was super fun and comfy. shower pressure was great and water was toasty!

Not an issue with hotel but taxi driver dropped us to the wrong hotel. There are 2 hotels with "City" in the name so guests should clarify using street address.

Some of the stafff at reception are not courteous enough and don’t have concierge which is very strange you can not book any activity here ,No bell boy for luggage ,Food options in breakfast not much for vegetarian people overall will not recommend as there re better options available

Nice place, would stay again

Breakfast was very good. Plenty of options. Service was good. Private Sauna didn't work but hotel made up for it. Very good. Hotel is in a great location to town and tour groups.

Breakfast food was the same every day, sauna times are ridiculous. Not sure how they expect the women to sue the sauna from 5-7pm and the men from 7-9pm all at dinner time. Makes no sense. Had to schedule private sauna for 50e to avoid this. There is no co-ed option.
