Overall, I would stay again. It cosy and comfortable.

Great location, twin room quite spacious and has a mini fridge, microwave and sink in the room.

The wifi did not work for us and there is only 1 shower for quite a few rooms so you might end up waiting a bit.

Genuine old-style guesthouse in a great central location

This is a genuine old-style guesthouse, and I found my room very comfortable. It was always warm, but not too much, as you can easily regulate the heater in the room. I also appreciated having useful appliances available, such as a kettle, microwave, and fridge. I had the opportunity to meet the owner, who was very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent — very central, close to shops, cafés, supermarkets, and tour agencies. Just around the corner, there is a bus that goes directly to the airport and Santa Claus Village. I arrived late and informed them in advance, and the self check-in was arranged easily with no issues. This is not a luxury accommodation, but it is comfortable, well located, and welcoming. I would definitely recommend it.

I wish there was a vending machine or a small selection of snacks available for purchase, either in the property or in the room. This would be very helpful for late arrivals or early departures to tours, especially when takeaways are not available or when you don’t want to order food.

Very Friendly Place To Stay

Mikhail the host was so very helpful, good natured and accommodating. The room was warm and comfortable with -20c temps outside and shared facilities did the job. Also an easy walk into town and transport to Santa's Village.

Things were dated but the price was good compared to so many other places in Rovanemi.

Very happy I stayed at Outas guesthouse.

Despite being a basic older style guest house, I enjoyed my stay very much. Excellent value for money. The room was small but had everything I needed and the location was close to the town centre.Very friendly and helpful staff made a huge difference as I was tired and a bit confused on arrival. Thankyou for everything!

Fine and what I expected for spartan accommodation

Breakfast and food not served at the location, and I wasn't expecting it, so no comments necessary. Only just over 5 min walk from the town centre, with plenty of coffee shops and restaurants. Friendly and helpful owner.

Very cozy and tidy place with a bit of retro style. The room was very tidy and it was exactly as they promised. Parking lot was available just as requested. The price is fantastic for the service they offer. I recommend!

Home away from home

Mika the owner is lovely. The guesthouse is located in city center and is just one block away from the bus station to Santa Claus Village. They provide cutlery, dishes and microwave/kettle (great for a warm tea after exploring the city). The guesthouse was clean and peaceful (loved the vintage feel of the decor too!). I felt like at home.

Location was bomb only 5 minutes walk to city center all amenities close by. Had a balcony. The room was nicer than shown in photos! Staff Ms Suvi was extremely helpful and so very nice in every way! Our next time going back to Rovaniemi would be with Guesthouse Outa

Location was great, right in the center. The place was small and clean. I liked friendliness of the staff. They cleaned my apartment every morning. Also, the internet was good enough to have my zoom meetings.

There was not enough air circulation, I guess. But opening a window for 10-15 min changed the situation. For this price, I guess the bed was ok. Because everyone comes to see the Polar light, during the night there was always someone coming or leaving. But this is understandable.

The guesthouse was central to city centre and was basic and clean. The staff were very friendly. The heating worked well. The beds were comfortable.

Other guests were not always considerate late at night. I found the bed pillows flat and small.

I do appreciate everything in the Guesthouse Outa. The people are supportive, and patient for your each question. Even it's a shared bathroom, it's quite clean, as well as the room. It's well prepared and with everything - microwave, refrigerator, and a lovely armchair. It exceeds my expectations and I love the days spending there
