Staff were extremely helpful. Breakast was super. We had a newly renovated room with a river view which was spectacular, and bunk beds which proved very popular. Location was perfect, close enough to everything but far enough away to feel like your not in the city...a lovely mix. Overall a fabulous stay. Would definitely recommend,

The bathroom was super tiny. I understand it needs fit the size of the room, but it was super small. The sink beinh a size of a cutting board. Also a fire alarm was raised but there was no communication when the issue was resolved. The communication could have been better. Also the floorboards are mog carpets, the yoing ones kept slipping and falling as the floor was really slippery. The floor in the bathroom freezing during winter. I just dont understand why the floors arent carpeted. The hotel needs some refurbishments. Breakfast not so great either, could have been much better. Truthfully if given a choice I wouldn't want to stay here again.

Room was much nicer then the pictures make them look, was expecting budget travel lodge style from the photos bust actually really well done, good quality and lovely and warm, view was beautiful. I've seen comments about the tunnel, but it's not really that long and saves you going outside in the freezing temps to get to breakfast or the bar. Staff were lovely, friendly and so helpful. Bus stop for Santa village/ park / airport just outside hotel (only real stop in the city for it) so perfectly located, breakfast was good and varied plenty of options for the whole family. If we were to come back we'd absolutely look to stay here again.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The room, however, felt a little small and lacking, and we expected a bit more considering the price we paid. The layout of the building was also quite unusual — the very long corridors leading to the rooms made it feel more like walking through an underground car park than a 4-star hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly throughout our stay, although on one occasion housekeeping knocked to clean the room quite late in the afternoon. Breakfast was enjoyable with plenty of hot and cold options, though a few items that should have been hot were on the cooler side. Still, there was a good overall selection. We did enjoy our time at the hotel, but like much of Rovaniemi during this time of year, everything comes at a premium.

Location is great. Behind the hotel is the river with beautiful views, in front is a bus stop to Santa Claus village. Multiple restaurants and stores around and close to city center. It's just that we refused cleaning but housekeeper came anyway while we were out.

Swimming pool was freezing (too cold to be useable) and areas of the hotel were worn/in need of renovation. Main single beds in room were very comfortable, but sofa bed was awful and has left me with a very painful back. That said, staff were friendly, location was good and breakfast was good.

Staff are very welcoming and friendly. Restaurant's dinner was delicious! though service was very slow, I waited 40 minutes for my order to get to my table (only 1 person at my table). The room was spacious and comfortable, the view was pretty, but the cleaning was superficial. I found hair and small paper and plastic residues from previous guests. The location is perfect and it was an overall pleasant experience (except for the cleaning, definitely an area of improvement).

Nice views from the room we had,conveniently located at City centre with decent parking facilities.However didn't like the fact that they do not provide basics like a kettle to boil water in the room.No dental kits, etc. and rooms do not have phones to connect to the reception.

The hotel was excellent, while the main hotel is a little dated the service and cleanliness of the rooms was excellent. Breakfast had a huge selection. Would highly recommend and plenty of restaurants to choose from in the City.

My family arrived at the hotel around 1pm. I asked if possible to check in earlier. I was told the room was not ready. We waited patiently and I went back to the reception to check whether the room might be ready around 2:45pm. The receptionist first said she was not supposed to answer my question as the standard checkin time was 3pm. When I insisted she checked again, she questioned my nationality. I requested to talk to a manager and complained about my experience. The manager said it was their standard procedure to ask about my nationality before checking the room availability. We finally checked in at 3:20pm. The first thing my son found near his bad was a pair of used underwear. The room is tiny. There is nothing except for 3 single beds. I will definitely not be staying at this hotel in the future. The hotel staff do not respect the guests and there is 0 service. You definitely don’t want to see other people’s underwear in the room. Our family vacation in Finland was still a memorable one except for the terrible experience at this hotel.

Hotel was ok for what we needed and very centrally located to centre. Pool was freezing, hence I dipped a toe and came out…quiet as people don’t stay in long. tea/coffee in room never replenished. Breakfast was good and plenty to choose from. Price reflects the season

Loved the newly renovated section , parking is close , no payment , nice room and bathroom was excellent quality … breakfast was great selection and quality … just it was a bit expensive for the overall hotel and no baggage service or help was difficult with 3 kids, snow and small elevators .

Fabulous stay for a family of 4, the hotel is ideally located and has all the facilities that we needed. The breakfast was included and was delicious with plenty of choice. The room was large for a family of 4 and the kids loved the bunk beds. It was quiet and had a beautiful view of the river. I would highly recommend this hotel
