The setting is absolutely idyllic, feels remote & like a winter wonderland. Cabins were spotless clean & well equipped. Cabins very warm & cosy.

We booked what we thought was an individual cabin with 6 beds, kitchen area & bathroom. It didn't come up as a triple room with shared bathroom when I put in our number of guests. When we arrived we were put in a large cabin, in a room, with 6 beds & a shared kitchen & bathroom with other families. Booking was not clear to advise of this beforehand & it was disappointing as we did not feel comfortable sharing with 3 other families. Best advice - make sure to email or contact the property after booking, to confirm that you are getting an individual cabin for your family if you dont want to share.

Overstay is good. Though is outside of city, it was peace and quiet, plus able to see nothern light!

The location. We are fortunte to see the northern light at the cabin

There is not individual water heater tank. Once the tank is empty need to wait for 2 hours for it to heat up and we were there during winter

Good location, clean property

Location was really good as the goal of the trip was Santa Village we were with a car so it was only 15 minutes drive. Sauna for no extra cost. It was small, but definitely did the job.

Even it was tidy but I would say it is a low budget property and 640€ for 2 nights I would say is quite expensive. Also you expect to have towels and linen included in the fee but no - 1 set of linen and towels 10€ extra. Other than that - all good.

I will not recommend this place to anyone.

For the amount I paid for our family the stay was not worth.

No WiFi, unless you keep the door open, which is impossible due to weather. Had to pay extra for towels, bed linens and pillow covers as these are not included in our stay. No proper cookwares in the kitchen, Plates are stained and old.

Good value for money at good location, but some inconveniences.

We could park right in front of our apartment which was convenient with the suitcases. There is a dishwasher, kettle, hairdryer. Not much space if you travel with a lot of luggage but just fine to sleep there for 2 nights :) The staff was friendly and polite :)

A bit small for a family with a lot of luggage. Also too cold with no option to adjust the heating. The warm water ran out in the morning. The snow was shovelled in front of our car so that we had to remove it in order to be able to leave.

Great budget, self-contained family-friendly accommodation.

The cabin was very comfortableand warm. The shared kitchen was well equipped and clean, and each of the 4 lockable rooms off the central kitchen had bunks, a table, drawers, plenty of hooks and a fridge. There was plenty of outdoor space for the children to play, and free toboggans to borrow from reception. We would happily stay there again.

The hot water system was a storage system and grossly inadequate for the number of people using the cabin. Could be up to 16 people, with enough water for 2 showers every few hours - could have been more if people were polite enough to take a very short shower. Needs to be upgraded to an instantaneous hot water system. The accommodation area was very well lit, good for security and walking around at dark, but no good for viewing the Northern Lights - we drove just 5 mins away into the forest on the road to Imari and had a great viewing location though. I would recommend having a hire car if staying here, as it is 10km out of town, and although serviced by the bus, waiting for it in the cold would be no fun! There are no laundry facilities.

Overall it was a great experience. We really loved the place. If we had a car it would have been perfect.

The houses are super cute. You are around the forest so it makes your experience even better. We even had a sauna to warm up. The room was always warm so we never felt cold.

Staff is not super friendly and not willing to help. WiFi was super weak and we could barely reach it from our room The location is a bit far from the city so if you don’t have a car you’ll struggle a bit with the bus ( the buses are rare on Saturday and Sunday) so you can’t move as you want.

Nice stay in this beautiful chalet not too far Rovaniemi. Safe and quiet place, comfortable beds, functional kitchenette and friendly staff. Lapland is a magic place, especially when the northern lights show up in the middle of the polar night.

Amazing

We spent a dream night in this cocooning cottage and we saw the most magnificent spectacle: the Northern Lights all night long! The host is very kind and available for any questions. Thank you again for this timeless moment which will be forever engraved in our memory.

Pretty cool place!

I was fairly hesitant to book this place because of all the negative comments. However, none of the comments ended up being true for us! The staff offered us a warm welcome and gave us recommendations, our property was lovely, clean, and quiet. It is true that the bedding is sold separately, but we knew this in advance and it was made clear to us since booking. I loved this place because it definitely gave me the 'cabin' feeling I was looking for, and with a private sauna!

We went during the midnight sun... and all the curtains were see through so there was light all throughout the night. We didn't find a solution for this.

The outside unit of the heating/airco was very noisy, when you lay in your bed, you hear it. The pillows definitely need to be replaced for new ones. The cleaning was poor.

Only good part about the place is that it's probably the cheapest in Rovaniemi with reasonable cleanliness. But it comes with a lot of compromises.

Location is a bit difficult if you don't have a car. It's 7km from the city centre on the highway. While the bus station is right in front, there is only one bus that goes to the city and it runs only 3 times a day on weekends. Weekdays are slightly better. Maybe every hour or so. So if you're staying over the weekend, don't plan on having easy public transport. Everything is the bare minimum/cheapest reasonable quality. Some of the stuff is really old and rickety. But it all works so can't complain. While I understand that the rates are also low, there isn't anything bad, but neither anything good to talk about. If you have a car and want to have a cheap stay and just sleep at night while spending the day in the city, then it's a reasonable option. Otherwise nothing else. No food, and you pay for bed sheets, duvet covers, and towel separately. Which makes no sense to be honest. Staff also doesn't really bother. Very neutral/not welcoming. Just going through the motions. So just adds to the kinda desolate feeling.

You have to pay 50 euros per 2 hours to use sauna which is really weird. Sauna is always free in Finland
