A very centrally located hotel which is perfect if you want to be right in the centre of Rovaniemi.

I would not recommend this hotel to any family's who have children's who have specials needs

Breakfast was A1 I must say. but room had no soap in the soap dispenser and no do not disturb sign in the room

Female Staff member who only started her shift coming over to me where i was chilling, tell me on the evening of 17th Dec 2025 that I couldn't drink my own beer in the lobby/bar where 3 other people where.

They need more toasters one 2 bread toaster and one 2 x gluten bread toaster for the size of the hotel is no where near enough long waits for toaster All rooms should have a kettle/tea or coffee making facilities we had to pay €10 for a kettle 🙄

Great location! In front of the hotel there is a mall center, restaurant and so on. The breakfast was really delicious with several options.

There isn’t soundproof, so during the night we woke up sometimes because the loud noisy on the street.

Disappointing second visit to the hotel, not a good value for the money.

The location was good, walking distance from the train station and central to Rovaniemi.

The breakfast choices were quite poor and the quality has dropped since my last visit a few years ago. I wanted to eat an egg and the 6 minute egg was totally hard and cold. The breakfast place was typically crowded teaming with screaming children. The room was spacious however the view was looking inward to the breakfast area which was definitely not enjoyable. The bathroom was soo small that one can hardly turn around in it. The beds were semi-comfortable with a very soft squeaky matrass. The staff was taking a long time to check us in. We had 2 rooms and even though the reservation was on the same card, it took forever to give 2 separate guarantees and 2 separate payments. My card was shown 4 times due to this inefficiency. At other hotels one time is enough. Even though all the details are in the booking, the hotel asked us to fill in 2 separate arrival cards with way too much information. I have not seen this at other Finnish hotels... Typically this information is filled in electronically and one only needs to sign, or then fill in one or 2 more extra things... not a whole novel.

Decor very nice. The wall paper and carpeting were creative and the rest of the building was decorated tastefully around them. Good location

Not our problem

A good location for what I needed

Staff weren't very helpful or.concerned when I pointed out an error had been made with my booking. It wasn't their fault but they made clear it wasn't their problem and wouldn't help me basically. I ended up paying for two rooms even though I only used one (solo traveller).

The is a Scandic hotel very good staff . The reception they try to make you feel real welcome. The breakfast was great as usual. The room was good but no fridge.lift very efficient . Easy garage to park with lift to the room floor. Easy for luggage access.

It would be nice if e if they had a kettle.

They insisted on credit card details which I think is an invasion on privacy given that I had paid in advance. The staff at the reception were quite adamant bordering on intimidating saying that it was the rule and they weren’t prepared to explain.

May trip to Rovaniemi city 2025

Location is great, walking distance to all shops and supermarkets. Hotel is clean. There is free sauna for guests, male and female separate.

There is no coffee making machine in room. You have to purchase your coffee at the reception or collect free hot water at the reception. There is no phone in room if you need anything. The door chain is not easy to unlatch. If there is a fire, the metal door chain will be heat up.

Great location, comfortable stay

Safe, central location, comfortable beds and pillows. Very good breakfast, especially eggs and karjalanpiirakat. Hertz car rental just next door and convenient car parking next to the hotel. Housekeeping did a great job keeping the room clean.

There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Shower door was a bit tricky to use and some water always leaked through no matter how well I thought I had closed it.

Comfy, Modern and well situated. Great staff.

The rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. The staff were courteous, spoke excellent English and didn't mind that I butchered their language (sorry about that, my finnish is diabolical). The location is fantastic for those who have kids, the world's most northern mcdonalds is across the street and there's also a shopping mall right across the street as well.

Nothing springs to mind, it was the perfect holliday.
