Nice stay with helpful staff

Helpful staff and close to lots of restaurants

There is a half deck. Not sure why we are assigned to a room, which need to walk the staircase with heavy luggage. With my bad leg condition, I cannot manage it. But it is still good that friendly staff could offer help to carry for me.

Old hotel and room was way too cold (in the winter)

Nice location and parking available.

The room was too cold. With the heating on a maximum value, room temp wouild barely get to 19C. I asked for an electrical heater but was told none were available.

Overall a super stay with only a couple minor things to pick out. We really enjoyed our stay!

Excellent location, central to the city - within walking distance of everything around. Helpful and friendly staff. Good variety of breakfast, lovely sauna to be used for hotel guests which was clean and quiet.

The room was quite hot at night with no apparent way to control the heat, and the shower hadn’t sealed at the bottom to the ground - this meant the water leaked onto the bathroom floor when using the shower.

Stinky drain smell in room

Nice central location

Our stay was a torture which was not heard. We had health and safety issues with 2 kids as young as 4 year and 6 year involved and the hotel took 4 days till something could be done. The shower room drain cap was open and all bacteria and stinky smell kept flooding the room. My son is smell sensitive and he stopped using bathrooms and toilets due to the smell. Sleeping was difficult due to the constant drain smell that seeped in the room. We kept seeking help and no one was listening. After a lot of push they offered us a replacement small room in another hotel which had 2 beds only ( we are 4 people) and at a time when it was 11pm and kids were highly sleepy after a very hectic day. After persistent push atlast their plumber fixed the broken drain cap but by then it was 4 days since facing the issue. We raised complaint with management who was named Sussazane whom we met on the day of check out. She clearly declined having any information regarding the matter. They said they will discuss the matter and will come back to us with compensation which they didn't. They do not care about kids health getting affected. Really avoid this hotel at any cost.

It is a worn down hotel, carpets nbeed replacing, drapes in the rooms need replacing, the base of the shower leaks, the room lighting is terrible, too few electrical sockets and none by the bed for recharging.

Pleasant and conveniently located. Good for a short break of 2 nights. The price was expensive.

The breakfast was good, a nice range of choices. Fresh hot food was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean. Good central location. Quiet. Comfortable bed. Nice seating area in the lobby.

The shower head did not stay in place when being used. The hairdryer did not work. There were no hot drinks available in the room.

the hotel REALLY needs updating, it is tired and the facilities in the rooms need to be improved, no tea/coffee facilities in the rooms, only in reception at a charge, only one pillow per bed, no way of altering the temperature in the rooms which are very very warm.

Decent but needs a facelift

the location is great, in the center. And there was a young lady at reception when we checked in who was so nice and helpful. The others didn’t seem to want to be there.

this hotel is badly in need of a renovation. At $250 a night, they really need to bring it into the 2020’s. Even into the 2000’s would be good.

We arrived Rovaniemi from Helsinki by train and went to the hotel by taxi. It really has a good location. I think we can walk there if there is no snow. There are many shops, malls and restaurants nearby. Everything is convenient. It also provided free sauna and some activity introductions at reception.

We stayed in a big room around the corner from the first floor, but it was poorly soundproofed. This hotel was many years old, and the equipment was old compared to the price of more than 300 euros a night.

The hotel could do with a serious facelift, the breakfast need a total review.

The location was very good to where we need to be and go. It was nice and warm. The automatic front door is a huge help when it is very cold outside.

Breakfast could have being so much better in my opinion, I didn't see any Gluten free items. I know it wasn't the hotels fault but Kids shouting in the next room at 1 AM is just not good.

Great location but with basic amenities

Private on site parking. Excellent location, in the middle of the city.

Very basic amenities and we expect more as it is quite expensive. Kettle is only available for a fee. However hot water is available at reception. Room heating did not worked well even at max temperature. We booked this Scandic hotel based on previous experience with Norway Scandic hotel but it did not match our previous experience. Staff friendliness and responsiveness could be improved.

At det lå centralt i byen.

Meget dyrt i forhold til hvad man betaler. Gammelt og slidt. Værelset var gammelt, lampe virkede ikke. Små tynde hovedpuder. Gammelt skrald i skraldespanden på værelset. Badeværelset også gammelt, småt og nusset.

Absolut perfekte Lage für Aurora Touren!!! Würden wir immer wieder buchen! Freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal😊

Unser Zimmer war im Keller und ging direkt auf die Straße hinaus, es war sehr hellhörig und dadurch, dass das Hotel schon ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen ist, waren die Fenster nicht mehr ganz dicht…es hat einfach gezogen und war kalt, (bei -35 Grad Außentemperatur nicht ganz optimal) obwohl die Heizung aufgedreht war. Wir mussten uns einen Beistell-Ofen ins Zimmer holen… Was wir sehr schade fanden war, dass im ganzen Hotel eher düsteres Licht war und wenn es eh schon mehr oder weniger den ganzen Tag dunkel ist, wäre ein helleres Licht vorallem auch im Frühstücks-Bereich stimmungsaufhellend für das Gemüt.

10年前にも利用した施設です。ロケーションも施設の内容も知った上で今回も利用しました。前回も今回も特に良かったのは，チェックイン前もチェックアウト後も大きな荷物をフロントが確認できる状態で保管してくれることです。チェックイン時刻前の早朝にロヴァニエミへ到着し，チェックアウト後も夕方まで滞在する者にとって大変助かります。

再利用した施設です。思っていた通りで，問題はありません。

Buena localización y prabctico aunque muy básico en cuanto a limpieza

La localización, está al lado de la calle principal, muy cómodo. El desayuno buffet estaba bastante bien y son flexibles con las horas, para niños genial.

Estaba bastante sucio, no hacen las habitaciones, solo estiran la colcha y cambian toallas. Las lámparas llenas de polvo El baño cuando llegamos ya había pelos ajenos en la ducha y como no lo limpian mucho acaba estando bastante sucio después de unos días sin limpiar

Costo spropositato per la tipologia di hotel. Camere vecchie, sporche (ho dovuto richiedere più volte la pulizia della camera). Ribadisco il costo eccessivo dell'hotel rispetto ai servizi proposti. Non lo consiglierei.
