Fantastic stay

Clean, comfortabel beds, friendly staff, Nice breakfast, fantastic location, nearby great restaurants. Their own restaurant also very nice, make sure to make a reservation.

Room temperature was too high, not able to change. Had to open the window for fresh air (-15 degrees)

The Hotel was beautifully decorated and the staff were lovely.

Nothing. The only issue we had was there was no seating for 3 people at breakfast when we arrived and I was seated in the doorway to the restaurant. As soon as a table became available the man looking after the restaurant moved us. Amazing service. The cooked breakfast was the best I'd ever had. Only wish I had more room to eat more!

Highly recommend this hotel!

The location is really great. There are several nice authentic Finnish restaurants nearby. The room and public areas are very clean and organized. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. I forgot my stuffs at the hotel. The staffs found them and shipped them to me internationally. I’m really appreciated how attentive they are. Highly recommend this hotel.

The staff were amazing and helpful. They even helped us call the next hotel when my phone couldn’t call. Rooms and bathrooms are big and well maintained. Breakfast is continental. Location is also good, bus station and market nearby

An exceptionally wonderful hotel and restaurant~ and I travel a lot!

This property was one of the most beautiful and accommodating that I have experienced and I travel a lot! The cuisine was beyond delicious-- so creative, warming and nourishing all the way into your bones! The bed, so comfortable, a tub you could get lost in... really, I cannot wait to go back.

Perfect stay in Rovaniemi, I will be back!

What a beautiful hotel! The rooms are cozy and excellently appointed. The common areas are comfortable and very inviting. I just wanted to sit in the reception area and read my book :) Reception staff very helpful and knowledgeable.

If I had to think about what could have been better, I would call out the breakfast service. It can be very crowded and the time taken to clean the tables in preparation for the next guests can be improved. Same applies for the buffet area - it takes too long to replenish items that have finished. On our last morning, we had no plans, and were trying to enjoy a relaxed breakfast. The staff started clearing the buffet 10 minutes before breakfast time was over, and were making a lot of noise banging the dishes and cutlery, it was really bothersome for the guests.

Very pleasant hotel in the centre of the city.

We felt warmly welcomed at the Arctic Light Hotel and, as it was in the centre of this delightful town, it was easily accessible to all the places that we needed to visit. As we had to leave very early for our departure flight, the staff were more than willing to pack a breakfast for us to go.

A fantastically beautiful spot close to everything in Rovaniemi!

The breakfast in Arctic Light is fantastic! We had quite a big group from overseas as it was my wedding to an Australian partner and it was nice to gather together every morning for the breakfast. We had booked the Polar room with sauna, and it was a very spacious, beautiful room with a lounge area. The sauna was fantastic! We really enjoyed our stay and it was luxurious enough for a wedding night!

Staff super friendly and responsive to requests. Antonis especially helpful and warm. Room very cozy and inviting. Very comfortable bed and space. Good amenities including bikes to borrow no fee and close to the water and bike paths. Great 30’ sauna experience included each day. Close to shops, restaurants and bus stops. The shower was amazing!!! Delectable breakfast included with large selection for all tastes.

Property design involves a lot of transitions with step ups /down can be challenging coming in from sun with dark areas and floor. No other negatives to note.

If you value comfort, this is the perfect place. Everything this hotel offered was top notch. We got an extremely spacious room, comfortably and fashionably furnished with our own mini kitchen, ironing board and all the other equipment that should be in such a place. The bathroom had all the cosmetics, including separate shampoo, body gel, conditioner, body lotion and hand wash. We came with a dog and got a special room, located at the entrance to the hotel on the other side (so we didn't have to go through the entire hotel to go for a walk). Another convenience was the private parking. The hotel is also located by the river and a nice place for longer walks, as well as near shops. However, the biggest advantage of this hotel is the food. Breakfasts are fantastic. Everything you could dream of is served, of the best quality. We also visited the restaurant and the dinner served to us also delighted us. Additionally, our dog received a bowl for the duration of his stay, a blanket and a small gift. Thank you very much for an incredibly successful stay. We will definitely return to this hotel next time in a larger group.

Our room was exceptionally comfortable and modern with adjustable lighting features, a well stocked refrigerator, super comfortable attached twin beds, robes and slippers for the sauna that was very modern with an electric stove that was really hot. The morning breakfast buffet had plenty of healthy choices with arctic berries, delicious breads and jams, tasty hot oatmeal, juices, and of course, very good coffee and a variety of teas to choose from. The hosts at the reception counter were very friendly, spoke multiple languages, and gave very helpful information. Best place I've ever stayed at in Finland. Kiitos oikein paljon!
