Surprised. I’ve never seen NY holidays like this before and 5 stars hotel like this

Only one sweet lady in reception

It was new year eve with kids . 1650 euro for 2 days . Nothin. No mood no fun no even clean room sr nice breakfast. Like usual day in very cheap hotel . Not 5, even 4 stars . -2 . I still regret about losing money and holiday . We had a very long way to celebrate this party .

Reception open always. Our flight was late and we were pleased to be welcomed by the lovely ladies at reception. Comfortable rooms. Nice breakfast although it gets busy w lots of guests.

Central location, Very friendly and helpful staff who allowed me to shower in the sauna room after skiing when room for late check-out was unavailable due to peak holiday season.

Room was rather small. Would also appreciate wider selection of breakfast item (compared to other Sokos property I have stayed in other cities).

What a beautiful stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Original Sokos Vaakuna Rovaniemi. Everything was perfect — the breakfast, the room, and the location. The hotel was warm, comfortable, and spotless. They also paid special attention to our 5-year-old daughter and even left children’s juices for her, which we truly appreciated. Highly recommended!

Lovely modern clean rooms, most comfortable beds ever, great breakfast, central location, sauna was a good added extra, friendly & helpful reception staff. Bud stop straight outside to go to Santas village very convenient. Would definitely recommend!

Comfortable hotel with good services and breakfast

This hotel is comfortable and has a really good breakfast and services. Except for one member of the staff that greeted us at night in a very cold manner all the staff was extremely kind and helpful. Breakfast was very good plentiful with lots of choices. The room was large.

the room was really nice and spacious. a garage was available for parking too (€15 per day) the breakfast was nice too - local jams and fresh food. the location was great too. you are in the middle of the city

the opening hours of the restaurant kitchen could be a little longer (8:30 pm is not that long)

Great but with poor vegan breakfast options.

Position was excellent, staff were friendly.

As a vegan, the breakfast was average at best, there was enough to eat, but the amount of options left a lot to be desired. For eg, no vegan sausages, baked beans only once in four days meaning no other suitable hot food besides porridge. the vegan margarine was next to the butter and people mixed up the serving implements, I used my own knife.

Very nice staff in the reception. Also friendly in the restaurant when serving, but made customers to wait to be taken to the tables very long and ignored guests who were waiting. The room was very basic and boring. Nothing like in the photo.
