Good location, clean premises but mis sold

It was clean and tidy and in a good location.

It was advertised as a studio with 5 beds but in reality was 2 seperate rooms and for a family of 5 we had to leave the 2 entrance doors open to access each room as otherwise one had no bathroom etc. pretty poor as we could have paid half the money for 2 seperate rooms somewhere else.

Northern lights could be actually included. :)))

Funny, but after all the northern lights were also included during our stay, we will never forget it!! Also, we had the chance to meet the owner as well, he was very nice to talk to, great host!

Quiet and lovely stay in the center of Rovaniemi

I could go on and on about how lovely this historic building was. The suites are spacious, and quiet, and private. The kitchens in them are well-stocked with coffee, tea, and other essentials for cooking. Staff was gracious, and helped me figure out an issue with the old door locks I was having. The wifi was speedy, and the beds were comfy. It's also inside a gift shop so you can look around at things if you like. It's very near the center of town, so you can walk to the supermarket and other attractions I was there on business to attend.

I didn't really have any complaints about this property, or the staff. So, I will use this space to add what was good and could be even better. They have lovely refrigerators. It might be nice to add some ice trays for drinks. Other than than, nothing really could be improved here. I had no complaints.

Perfect House

Very friendly. Lakus treats us as a family member. Very well take care of our family. Warm honey mints tea as welcome drink when we checked in. Location just few minutes walking distance to the central of city. Taxi station is near by the property. Highly recommend.

We stayed at G/F. Some noise at the 1st floor during night time but became quiet after 22:00 which is under control by house ruled.

Everything is 10 min walk

It'a a small appartment in centre of Rovaniemi. Everything is a 10 minute walk which is great. Beds are confortable, and kitchen is well euiped. We had a few complaints about heating (one of us was a bit sick so we needed extra heating) and problems with the doors. The owner was very helpful and responsive to everything. We expected holiday feeling as all other rooms are in fulll wood. We didn't check but studio V is not, it is just a cute little appartment.

The apartment is weird as one bedroom is accross the hall from the rest of the apartment are you have 2 locked doors in between. The doors were horrible to unlock, when the owner showed us it looked easy, but still it took 2 to 3 minutes every time to get into the appartment.

Not what it had been advertised as.

Self contained.

Not what we expected at all. Photos misleading. Roof being mended first thing in the morning and we were just under it! Dreadful noise. Property in the middle of a housing estate and a building site.

Nice, Cozy apartment in the heart of Rovaniemi

The property is in heart of the city, nice restaurants, stores, and many tour operators within 5 minutes of walking. Do not forget to go to the private northern lights tour provided by the apartment owners as it was spectacular. just pure breathtaking

The heating could be a bit better if I have to point something they could improve.

Nice Short Stay In City Centre

Location, few minutes walk to city centre. Spacious apartment with all cooking utensils for people to cook if they want.

No elevator, people who with luggage need to move by themselves. There are non-civil aircraft will fly over that area in the day time and it’s rather noise. However, it’s quite in the night, so didn’t brother the sleep.

The owner was friendly and all instructions were sent prior to our stay. Very close to the town centre. Modern kitchen and bathroom but traditional style in bedrooms. Rooms were clean and neat.

Great location for a Holiday of a Life Time

Excellent location, only 15min from the train station, 5min to the shops and the buses to Santas Village.

Although 5 beds, 2 beds are separate from the main living area and toilet. With 2 young kids we had to slip ourselves between the two rooms.

Disappointing

Clean, fast accessible, available parking free of charge

The house is extremely old and the persons in the studio on top (also rented) almost fallen trough the ceiling of my room - I couldn't sleep until I went to ask them to stop walking at 2:00 o'clock in the morning.

Really cosy and convenient

We had such a lovely stay in Lauri house. We were two families and we had a building to ourselves with an upstairs apartment and a downstairs apartment. The facilities were perfect, clean and comfortable. And it was so lovely and warm when you came in from the cold outside. We all slept soundly in the cosy beds and the children loved the freedom of being able to move between the apartments and rooms easily with safe space to play outside also. It is easy walking distance to lots of supermarkets, bars and restaurants. I would recommend this accommodation without hesitation.

The hisorical house is very nice and cosy. Location was very good, close to city center. Study and toilette very big.

We didn t met the owners, it was a pity, we just chat on messenger. Kitchenet is really tiny with few things to cook but we asked for and we got it.

Nice traditional house experience

The interior of the house and the location, and free parking.

One of the bed is almost collapsing. The wifi signal was terrible and poor. The floor carpets are slippery and dangerous, we almost ended fallen a few times.

Great room and a great atmosphere of the building and property in general. Everything was clean, neat and there was plenty of space.

To cook it is quite limited because the pans were quite small to make bigger amounts (good frying pan but other two pots were small). Sometimes noise from the neighbourghs could be heard, but it wasn't a huge problem.

Good location and VERY spacious.

Location in Rovaniemi was perfect and there was with free parking on site. The host replied very fast on any questions through the Booking.com app. Very spacious and traditional. Very quiet.

Someone had previously been smoking in our room, which we as non-smokers found quite annoying. However, the host cleaned the air with an ozone-cleaner while we were out one day. Could be great with a dishwasher (which actually saves a lot of water) and maybe more than two cooking plates - after all, the room sleeps 8 people.

Excellent location

A great place to stay in Rovaniemi. close to city and nearby bus stop. we stayed in 2 bedroom unit. there's 5 beds. the unit got great view and the room was warm enough for all of us. There's sauna too. I really recommended this place.

The unit we stayed got stairs and I didn't notice this. We work together to carry our heavy luggage upstairs.

Great room which was alot bigger than i expected. Another family member also had a room in another building. We had all the facilities we needed to make our stay brilliant. the children really enjoyed
