Super host, amazing experience.

They received us really warm, they communicated with us one day before advising us and everything. We left the bags because the room was not ready, so it was nice to leave them! The bed is suuuuper comfy and everything was 10/10. The soaps for hands and body smelled amazing and the towels were smelling super nice. For the breakfast, the lady even offered us to cook some eggs, so nice! it was an amazing host and experience and i would definitely come back!!

The place itself is really nice and quiet

We liked the fact that we could order a vegan breakfast, we like the little patio (although it wasn't totally private) and the room was perfect.

We'd rather not deal with racist comments in the morning... even though I do understand that Ostend is getting way too crowded during summer, blaming young people of colour seems a bit short-sighted.

Somewhat less cosy than expected

Central, quiet location. Very friendly and helpful landlady living upstairs. Very good and varied breakfast with eggs made to order and lots of fresh fruit. In total there were only four guests sharing a round breakfast table. We had a pleasant conversation over breakfast. Large bed, good bedding. Large bathroom with good shower. New towels. Enough space to store luggage.

The view from the room through large sliding glass doors onto a small courtyard surrounded by high walls was depressing in rainy weather. Apart from a large bed, there was nothing in the room. No desk, no chair or armchair. One low stool in a hallway with open racks and clothes hangers. The shower has a glass partition but the bathroom with toilet has no door. Awkward. There is no door between the sleeping corner and the hall. Unnecessarily complicated lighting system with lots of buttons (on, off, dimming).

Super gezellig plekje in Oostende! Lekker ontbijt, toffe sfeer en warm onthaal door gastvrouw Nele. Locatie is ideaal: dichtbij de winkels en dichtbij het strand. Geen geluidsoverlast. Zeker een aanrader voor een weekendje weg aan de kust!

Hele warme ontvangst door Nele, voelde me meteen welkom. Is een mooi gebouw, met mooie receptie. Aan alles merk je dat het kwalitatief ingericht is. Ik vond het fijn dat de keuken open uitgerust is, met een volle koelkast. Zo kon je zelf nemen wat je wilde als je het opschreef. De kamer dan was heel mooi met een groot terras. Een goede badkamer met zalige douche. En een heel uitgebreid ontbijt! Heb hier zalig geslapen en zal zeker nog terugkeren.

Een warm en hartelijk verblijf met een zalig zacht bed, een heerlijk vers ontbijt en een topligging!

Ik had een bijzonder aangenaam verblijf bij B&B James en Leon in Oostende. Voor één nacht was dit een plek van rust en comfort. Het bed was zalig zacht en zorgde voor een verkwikkende nachtrust. Bij aankomst werd ik hartelijk ontvangen – een warm welkom dat meteen een thuisgevoel gaf. ’s Ochtends wachtte er een heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt, met kraakverse producten en oog voor detail. Ook de ligging is ideaal: op wandelafstand van station Oostende, wat het verblijf extra toegankelijk maakt. Een aanrader voor wie op zoek is naar gastvrijheid, comfort en kwaliteit in een charmante setting.

Wat hebben wij een tof verblijf gehad bij James & Leon. Een zeer gastvrij ontvangst door Nele. De kamer met terras en privé sanitair was top. Alles zeer schoon, en heerlijke producten voor onder de prettige (stort)douche. Er stond een heerlijk chocolaatje voor ons klaar😀 Het ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid en erg lekker😋 Wij voelden ons zeer welkom in de mooie b& b van Nele. Kortom een dikke aanrader pal in het centrum van Oostende🤩
