EV Charge Point not available - blocked by ICE Vehicles. Hotel run for the convenience of the staff.

The location was central

No EV Charge point provided, even though I had requested this in advance and been assured that they would reserve one for me. No willingness to contact either of the two ICE cars that were parked in front of the charge points to ask them to move to one of the other vacant spaces. Instead, the receptionist suggested I drive to a public underground car park, pay to charge there, walk back to the Hotel in the spitting rain and repeat the process the following morning, then pay to park at the Hotel Ostend as well. The room fittings had been flown in from some time in the 1980s and dinner in the Hotel restaurant was not available to Hotel guests unless they booked at reception prior to 7am on the day of their stay - my conclusion is to suggest to all would be visitors - STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

Nice hotel near the Ostend beach.

Close proximity to the beach and restaurants. Hotel price was also reasonable. Staff was friendly and hotel was clean and included breakfast. Indoor play area for the kids was a bonus!

Two lights in our room were broken, so the room was not well lit. Also we booked a family room and the kids beds were not prepared in advance. We had all the supplies to make the beds ourselves, but it would have been a nice touch if they were already assembled. Lastly, we left the windows open to sleep, but each morning there was so much noise outside it was not very restful.

De luxe room was exceptional.cleaned everyday to a very high standard Location perfect for beach and centre . Staff very friendly and helpful.

Im being very picky here as it had zero impact on my stay .... Bar , maybe open before 5pm Also evening entertainment would be good

Water pressure, the strange colour of each floor 😆😆😆, the slightly dated piping, wiring and sockets in the room, the poor soundproof, the running kids in the corridor at 6am.

The staff where brilliant, nothing was to much trouble.The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good,It was all there and plenty of it. I loved it so much I will stay there again.

The only downside was the coffee and Hot Chocolate machine in the breakfast area.The Chocolate was weak and the coffee was as well. I did mention this to the manager on the day.

Location and facilities.

Stayed at the Ostend many times and we love it after the last recent refit its a great central place to stay a few yards from the beach and harbour. Breakfast is plentiful with a great hot and cold selection and great coffee served buffet style. Its nice to come back for a quiet drink at the bar which serves some great beer on tap.
