Bad luck

Not much other than the sympathy of the owners

The smell of still water in the pipes The lack of character of the room The no-door toilet and lack of privacy Being awaken at 8AM with repairs on the roof Being given breakfast in the kitchen The disarray around the kitchen and the reception Ended up cutting our stay short and leaving the morning after arriving

Very comfortable beds and splendid shower

We came for the reputation of good breakfast. It’s extraordinary. Chef is creative and patient for making wonderful breakfast. Just a bit surprised to have seafood for the morning, the young don’t have appetite yet, so that I had to have three dishes of mussels, in the wish not waste their life.

May communicate with guests for their preferences for food by advance.

Airco in de kamer

Ontbijt. Bestond eigenlijk uit wat amuses die de dag voordien klaar gemaakt waren. Weinig keuze in broodjes en pistoletjes. Zelfs geen koffiekoek op zondag. Een eitje of zo werd niet aangeboden. De confituurpot moest door elke gast gedeeld worden met eigen mes wel te verstaan. Na de boeking bevestiging gekregen van eigenaar met de vraag of we ontbijt wilden (aan meerprijs). Ik dacht dat dit standaard was voor een b&b.

Enorm genoten van de rust en lekker eten!

Wij boekten zeer last-minute een kamer bij Villa Cecha, maar werden hartelijk ontvangen. De gastheer en gastvrouw waren SUPER vriendelijk en gaven een fijne, duidelijke uitleg over de kamer en het ontbijt. De kamer zelf was uitgerust van airco, een best grote tv en alles wat je nodig hebt. De badkamer is super proper (en wij zijn nogal gesteld op hygiëne). Enorm pluspunt; Het ontbijt was allemaal zelfgemaakt, gastronomisch zou je het bijna kunnen noemen. Je mocht nemen zoveel je wou! 's Avonds zijn wij nog een wandeling gaan maken in de buurt. De villa ligt in een zeer rustige buurt, op wandelafstand van een gigantisch park. We kwamen dus helemaal ZEN terug. Al bij al een heerlijk verblijf!

3 'minpuntjes' (die absoluut niet super erg zijn): - Wij wisten op voorhand niet dat je in Oostende de vliegtuigen nogal hard hoort. 's Nachts werden we dus enkele keren wakker, omdat we ons raam openlieten en schrokken telkens enorm. Hier kunnen de mensen van Villa Cecha niet aan doen, maar het op voorhand even melden bij de rondleiding zou al helpen. - De kussens op bed waren van mindere kwaliteit. Mijn vriendin en ik stonden beiden met rugpijn op. - Omdat de andere gasten iets later ontbijtten dan voorzien, werden wij aan een tafeltje in de keuken gezet. Dit vonden wij niet erg, maar de keuken zelf was nogal een rommeltje. Als je je gasten zo een plek aanbiedt, ookal is het uit noodzaak, kan ik me voorstellen dat er mensen bij zijn dat hier wel een probleem van zouden maken. Wij niet, maar geven het graag mee!

Ik keer tevreden (zeker ) terug.

Het ligt heel mooi in een wijk waar je gemakkelijk kan parkeren. Het is goed bereikbaar. Er is op de baan een spar een frituur en ook mooie restaurants.De eigenaars heel vriendelijk, je kan er alles aan vragen. Ze verwelkomen je heel goed, goede uitleg over het huis. En de kamer is mooi afgewerkt gezellig, er is alles aanwezig, goede warme douche, wc heel proper, alles is netjes, koffie machine , ijskast, handdoeken. En de wellness heel gezellig in gericht. Alles werkt goed, als je boekt moet je wel aangeven dat je graag de wellness wil boeken. S’morgens het ontbijt, er is veel, goed gekoeld in de ijskast, er zijn broodjes en brood boter koffie of thee. Van daar uit is het te voet 20 min wandelen om naar de zee te gaan.Hangt ervan af hoe snel je bent. En Oostende zelf is groot en er is veel te doen. Ik ben relax thuis gekomen, en dat was mij bedoeling. Bedankt voor de goede service en gezelligheid. Groetjes Erik🌷❤️
