Air conditioning should be considered standard; our room was so hot that sleep was difficult. We were told that standard room does not include air conditioning!

Location, nice atmosphere and very clean

Our room looked out onto the fire escape which in itself was not a problem but there was some sort of unidentified machine that ran constantly. As the window was open because of the heat this made sleeping difficult

Great stay overall

Great location, the room was clean, there was a fridge and a kettle. Breakfast was really good.

The soundproofing isn’t perfect, but it didn’t bother us. If the neighbors are noisy, it could be a bit uncomfortable.

Excellent address for a mini-break at the sea!

A great stay at the hotel that exceeded our expectations. Location, facilities, comfort - everything was great. Excellent breakfast spread and very friendly and helpful staff.

The only disappointment was the instant coffee machine at breakfast. Luckily, I could order a better coffee from the bar for 3 euros.

Perfect escape

I would highly recommend. Very friendly management who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The hotel is pet friendly. Room was very clean and spacious, good breakfast. Great location too, close to the beach. We will definitely be back!

Very convenient hotel, correct for Oostende.

The staff at the reception desk was very friendly and professional.The room was nicely renovated and the shower was also a new, spacious walk-in shower with good pressure.Nice shower products an towels.The beds are comfortable.The breakfast was good with a good choice and lovely bread. You can take an umbrella at the hotel when it rains and the hotel is only 1 s treet away from the boardwalk and beach, bars, restaurants and shops are nearby.You can leave your bags in a bag room after check-out. The train station is only a good 10 minutes walking distance.

The room and bathroom are quite small, not much privacy if you are not a couple and very little closet space .Our room had a view on the backside of a building so not so nice. The bar was closed at night when we were there so we went for drinks at a nearby hotel. The hotel is basic but correct in pricing and value for money in Oostende.

Great location and breakfast

Never stayed here before but our normal hotel was full. The Pacific was just round the corner so we new it was in a great place. " mins from the beach,marina,fish market and the main square with many bars and restaurants. The place was warm cosy and immaculate. There is a small cosy bar with wood paneling and a lovely breakfast room, best of all was the fantastic breakfast with the usual cheese, bread,salami fruit and real bacon along with a hot selection. Tea and coffee are from a machine so no waiting and the coffee is strong. Highly recommended

Comfortable room, very clean. The breakfast was very good and hot food was available a big bonus. Very pleasant staff. Location is virtually in the middle of Oostende so access to the local market, tram service and shops for the" ladies" are close by.

Breakfast is perfect. Location is in front of beach , so it was perfect as well.

A room we stayed in looked like an emergency extra room or something. I can hear the whole building's water flow's sound and so cold. Even the washroom's door couldn't close completely.

Friendly stopover on cycling trip along the coast

Friendly staff. They offered a spot in the garage where our bikes could stand for the night. Coffee/tea facilities in the room. Nothing to complain about. Restaurants and cafés were around the corner.

We got two single beds next to each other instead of the double bed we asked for in the booking. But we didn't mind.

- We got a bath instead of a shower

- Very bad wifi, unable to stay connected. - Thin & squicky floor. Felt like it was going to collapse. - Poorly isolated, you can follow conversations in other rooms. - Two 1 person matrasses instead of a big 2 person matrass. - Everything is old and mostly analog. - Elevator is extremely slow.
