Lovely stay in a very nice property except for the problem with blind which I have mentioned above

The blind on the window did not work properly we could never close it more than a third of the way so we felt very overlooked from the properties behind us especially in the evening when the light was on . I did send a message about this on the day we arrived but didn't get a reply which was very disappointing

Great place to stay, right in the middle of everywhere. Will stay again here, loved it. Cosy & Cute

Everything was fantastic (apart from the collection of the key)

The information about the key collection. The code to gain entry to the building was okay but couldn’t get the key lock open outside the apartment with the code given as instructed. We had to ring cottages.com who rang the owner. 30 mins later we were told the apartment key lock was actually outside the building, not visible so was directed to it. It wasn’t too much of a problem for me but as the cup final was on the boyf wanted to be in the pub with a pint.

Worst accommodation ever!

Location good,close to shops ,cafes and lake.

Awful ! Everything crammed into 1 room. Expected separate bedroom.Not listed as studio flat. Bed very uncomfortable,.High window dark and dingy. Fridge freezer compartment door iced up so fridge consistently on making noise like aeroplane.Had to wash crockery,cutlery & pots & pans before use as dirty.No hot water in taps so had to boil kettle to wash up.Shower scalding hot & adjustment didn't work. Folding table very wobbly so didn't use for fear of it collapsing.whole place needs a good clean & freshen up of decor. sheep mural is to big for the size of room and scary when it's the first thing you see when you open your eyes.By the end of the week we couldn't wait to get home.

Couldn’t get hot water to work so had to boil kettle to wash up but no big deal as shower was electric.

Cosy and quiet apartment

The apartment was cosy decorated and had everything I needed, the kitchen and bed were good as well as the shower. What I most apreciated was how quiet it was, located in a side lane so that you could not hear the traffic of the otherwise really noisy main road in Bowness.

At this time of the year, summer, with many daylight hours, and no rollos on the window high above the bed, it was very difficult to sleep properly or for normal hours, since at 4:00 in the morning it was very light again. Not everybody can sleep well with a sleeping mask.
