Great apartment in great location with all you need

Great apartment with everything you need. Bang in middle ot town and private parking a bonus. They even left a bottle of red wine for us....and the underfloor heating in bathroom a very nice touch. Would definitely recommend.

Great location average property

The location was amazing. Close to the Centre and a lovely view of Lake Windermere. There was a large packet of crisps and bottle of wine left for us which was appreciated, thank you. It was cosy.

My daughter sat on a chair and it collapsed. She is a light weight so unexpected. When we looked it had clearly been put back up the table damaged. She ended up lying flat on the floor and could have been hurt. It was a bit grubby in places. Some of the doors are damaged. The tacky neon pink lamp in the small bedroom was a shame. Overrall the place is ok but imho very overpriced. At nearly £150 a night out of season it is expensive. It was marketed as a 4 star property and the price possibly reflects that but in reality is a 2/3 star.

We would definitely stay again! Fab apartment!

The location was excellent, and we had access to a private carpark with ample parking which is hard to find in the centre of Bowness. The hosts communicated very well and were very friendly. There was a smart tv and a selection of dvds, which is great when you need a night in after being out walking all day!

I struggled with the key lock box, however had no problem contacting the hosts to help.

Strawberries and Cream isn't as sweet as it sounds!!

The location.

The mould in the bathroom and entrance hall. Hole in the wall in the entrance way. Rusty soap holder and dirty beaker. A small roll of toilet paper for 4 people for a 3-day stay. No toiletries at all....some soap would have been nice in the bathroom. Messy storage cupboards. Dirty cleaning cloths in kitchen. No complimentary tea/coffee sachets or milk, although the host knew we would be arriving late. The place looked like it doesn't receive proper attention between guests. Instruction booklet thrown in a basket with other books and was filthy dirty. It made me feel ill to have to touch it. The place needs a thorough clean, repairs, tidying up, organizing etc. before receiving any more guests. The parking space for guests needs to be better organized also. Very disappointing indeed.

Not a pleasant stay!

The location was good.

The apartment was dirty and had a smell with clutter everywhere. The bathroom needed attention. All facilities were broken - sink, toilet seat, bath shower, etc. There was a lamp in the bedroom with a bright pink bulb. Just horrible. The pin code that we were given didn't work, I spent an hour on the phone trying to get the right code to access the property. We left a day early.

Convenient location for walking to attractions.

Wasn't the cleanest, needs a bit of a spruce up. Broken wine glass left out on side on arrival. Not enough toilet roll to get us through the first night. Noise from outside was an issue on Saturday night.

The week went by far too quickly !

Good central location, easy parking. Kitchen had everything we could need. Close to the lake, lots of restaurants and cafes.

Storage cupboard and airing cupboard doubled up as wardrobes, there was still water in the mop bucket in the cupboard. Cupboard in the other bedroom couldn't be opened, perhaps that was a wardrobe ? . .

We had a great stay. it's comfortable for our family of 4 adults.

Breakfast is not included but the location is fantastic and you can find any food that you like nearby the place. Almost everything is walking distance. We love the place as coffee and tea not to forget the ice cream places are around the corner.

At first we could not find the place based on the instruction given. But when we contacted the telephone no. given we were guided on how to go to the place.
