Tree Tops View

Location was great. Although more information about routes into town would have been appreciated as there were two cut throughs. The towels were soft and luxurious. The provision of a fan very welcome. Good provision of glassware, plates, cutlery and utensils. Access to iplayer and prime on the TV. Sofa really comfortable. The bed was a little firm but comfortable enough. Good storage available for clothes. Parking availability was key to our choice of accommodation and didn't disappoint.

The toilet is one side of the kitchen and shower on the other which is a bit bizarre. The frying pans didn't sit flat on the hob. The fact the fridge door didn't stay shut meant we had to put a chair in front of it. No facility for separating recycling from rubbish as only one bin provided. A split compartment bin would be better. The instructions for accessing the site weren't accurate. We didn't encounter a barrier with a padlock. If you enter from the main Bowness to Windermere road opposite the caravan park, you drive up steep hill and follow that round and down (don't turn off) and the flat 18A's parking space is the middle of the last set of garages on the left hand side.

Lovely apartment equipped with everything you could need, perfectly clean upon arrival

Good sized apartment for solo travelling or a couple, only a short walk to the lake and numerous restaurants and bars

The location was very good and easy to get to local amenities, pubs and restaurants.

There was a slight leak under the washbasin in the toilet so we used the kitchen or bathroom to wash our hands.

Good location Well equipped and with a lot of items for such a small flat

Flat was a bit dirty when I got in there - incl. hair in the fridge. Internet was super slow, making it very difficult to watch TV Flat was ok, but that was about it. Building is old, with no character.
