The location. This is the best thing about West View. Walk down the hill from the apartment, along the path at the side of the building, down a few steps and your right opposite to the Peter Rabbit Cafe, The Old Peel Inn and The Flying Pig pubs, but on the same side of the road as the Beatrix Potter World.
Large car park (plenty spaces) which is not too far from the apartment.
Accommodation is very basic and could do with a refurbishment and decoration in brighter colours. The bathroom, whilst functional, is basic.
There was no hand wash in either the bathroom or kitchen. No kitchen roll, coffee, tea or sugar in the kitchen. Only one toilet roll in the bathroom (for two people for three nights/four days).
One of the pans had been used to cook eggs and had been put away without being washed. Some of the cups, bowls, glasses and plates had to be rewashed too.
The walls and ceilings are thin so you can hear your neighbours talking, shouting and moving about. Take ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.
No wifi and mobile 3g/4g is limited within the apartment.
TV set top box kept losing signal - had to keep turning it off and on again to re-establish the signal.
3pm check in and 10am check out. Would be nice to be able to get in earlier and leave later when you have so far to travel to and from home!

Flat was clean tidy, near shops, walking distance. Had a problem got sorted very quickly. Good price for the stay.
Having problem with flat, it did get sorted.
Plus the two Sofas are uncomfortable. The seats sink in leaving hard rim on your legs.

We loved the location
The beds were comfy.
There was an awful dirty stench in the lounge and we suspect it was coming from the bin . Couldn’t have eaten any food in there, it made us feel sick, had to have balcony door open . The balcony furniture has seen better days, surely it can be updated .
Didn’t know where the bin store was although we had a code for it .
