Great location but not so clean

Amazing location, the Bowness pier was few yards away and the Beatrix Potter was next door

Could have been better

Location was perfect - right in the centre, 5-10minute walk to lake shore. Really nice area- but do expect if your windows are open to hear shouting we were often woken up around 3am to drunk people. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen well stocked and clean.

Hairs on walls, cobwebs in corners and by windows. Dots of mould in the bathroom, on the bathroom curtain and in some of the rooms. Fridge was dodgy- not very cold on the highest setting and door did not close when anything was on it so had to remove the shelf. Shower was very weak and kept changing temperature. Only one toilet roll provided had to buy more. Confusing instructions for car park- not even sure if we did park in the right one, no green gate or 3 coded padlock it was a 4 code. Ended up parking on the road out the back most of the time anyway because it seemed we could only park in a row on the right of the car park which was often full as its first come first served not guaranteed. But did manage to always find somewhere to park and no parking charges yet 🤞. Owner did not reply to messages.

Location was fantastic.

Place was not so clean, we recieved the place with a cleaning cloth wet left on the table and could provide more basic stuff, such as toilet roll and kitchen roll. Place was a bit difficult to find because the flat numbers were covered by the chocobar sign.

Great location, nice apartment, maintenance, let it down.

Great location, clean and tidy apartment with everything you needed. Above the Christmas shop, next to chocco bar my son said the hot chocolate was lovely. So was the chocolate cake.

Unfortunately for us, the toilet did not work, all the numbers in the welcome pack book did not work, out of hours number did not work. I texted and rang on Friday when we got there. Eventually, I got through on Saturday morning and spoke with lucy, who arranged for a maintenance guy to come out, and he said he was called out last week for the same issue! Could we leave a key for the plumber, which we did, came back after all day been out, toilet flushed once and stopped working again. Step 1 again of someone answering the phone.... offered a goodwill gesture of 15% back, which is fine, but I just wanted it sorting on the first day, not the 3rd, as we were leaving.

Very Good Apartment

Great location, we could see the lake from the lounge window. Appreciated having the dishwasher.. Clean and generally comfortable. Good access to shops and facilities and free parking.

Settee was a bit uncomfortable. Flat above occasionally played loud music. Insufficient teaspoons - only 3 provided! No large microwavable bowl or large casserole dish provided. No sieve to drain rice etc.

Family had a fantastic time. We went to lots of places on the bus and some cruises will definitely stay again

Fantastic location just a short walk to the lake and a short walk to the bus stop to enjoy other towns and lakes. Within the shops so easy to just pop out and get something or plenty of restaurants if want to eat out especially in the day time. Very comfortable beds and great place to relax or explore .

Quite noisy two days/nights from permanent residents upstairs but otherwise not too bad . Welcome pack was like a bed and breakfast / travelodge pack it could have been a lot better promoting local things like a pack of biscuits some chocolate from the chocolate shop below doesn’t have to be big but something to make it more personal to the Lake District . Not very good instructions to find the car park .

The location of the flat is very convenient.

The water pressure in the bathroom was quite low throughout our four-night stay for a group of four. Additionally, we found that we were only provided with two rolls of toilet paper for the entire duration of our stay.

Location was great and apartment was plenty big enough for two. Had no problem parking in the shared car park.

Great location, well equipped flat.

Check out at 9am on departure was a bit early especially as most breakfast places in Bowness don’t open until 10am. An extra hour would of made a big difference

We had a lovely time in the lakes visiting different places .

The location of the property was very good and it was very clean and tidy .

For the price we paid £700 for 3 nights you would expect a little better The cold tap in the bathroom didn’t work so brushing your teeth you either had to do it over the bath or use hot water . The kettle in the kitchen was leaking so much that we had to put a towel underneath it and the floor was soaking and when we arrived at the property it was extremely had to find it even the owner of the complex didn’t even know which flat it was . I understand these are only little things but for the price we paid you would expect a little better .
