Was absolutely perfect including location of the stay and inside.

Bed was very comfortable, and was easy to access. The rooms were amazingly furnished and the facilities were perfect.

Decent shower, good TV and location was handy. Communication with host was good.

Couldn't gain entry on arrival. Phone call was answered and explained about using hand over lock to start it but it wasn't obvious and could be put in email as part of instructions. Towel rail in bathroom very high and difficult to get towel set on it.

Lovely modern small room.

We had a lovely stay here this weekend, the room was very clean and modern. The communication from the hosts was exceptional, they responded very quickly to any queries we had. The area was beautiful and very quiet.

The property was very small, there was very little space to store bags or shoes, except for under the bed.

Perfect for a few nights away solo or in a couple

Perfect for a few nights stay. Small room but the location into bowness makes up for it. Bed was comfy and room was clean and well heated - you can adjust heating using the thermostat on the wall. When we arrived we had been given some complimentary snacks and drinks which was a nice touch. Very pleased and would stay again

It was so lovely will definitely recommend and be returning.

Reading other reviews I was expecting it to be a lot smaller but me and my partner both had plenty of space to get ready in the room. It was so clean and we had a gorgeous outdoor space that was lovely to sit it at night time. It was in a great location near towns and everything we needed was walking distance. I am so pleased with this accommodation it was perfect for us.

Great for shorts breaks and solo travellers

Super cosy. The perfect hide away for a few days. Short walk to shops, restaurants, lake and bus stops. The shower was heavenly and the Bath House brand toiletries were a treat. Room felt safe and secure, always important when I travel solo.

Did the job perfectly

Ideal location, parking isn't too far away, good price. Comfy bed, wonderful rainfall shower.

Only criticism is the evening noise outside the window. Ear plugs were needed.

Will stay again for shorter stays

They forgot to send me the door code, maybe because i booked just the day before. But once i rang the emergency number they fixed the problem very quickly. I had everything suitable for a short 2 night stay. The TV at the end of the bed was very convenient for watching tv. You could turn on the heater yourself.

The room was quite small, it is just enough for one person's stuff. There was no wardrobe, just 3 hangers on the door. So def only suitable for minimalist short stays. I do think even with the heater, it was generally a bit colder than other places i stayed before. The sink was tiny, so you would def have water dropped on the floor, i put the bath mat there so it wasnt a huge issue.

Perfect solo weekend in Windermere

It’s compact but perfect for a solo traveller, great value for money in a superb location, and the room and bathroom are finished to a high standard. LOVE the shower! Smart TV so could connect to all apps and streaming services.

There was a lot of messages sent before getting to the property, summarising most of the info in a couple of messages would be better as it was a bit tricky to dig through all the info, but otherwise literally no complaints.

Comfortable but small room.

Great thing about this room was the location, minutes walk from shops, restaurants and Bowness Bay. The things I didn’t like were the access by a digital door code. I found it hard to use and had to ring the agency. They were helpful and talked me through it until I was inside. The other problem was the room was small, not as pictured. The bed reached both sides of the room and consequently there was no storage space, not even a rail. It had a fridge and kettle but it’s inaccurate to call this an apartment.

Small and comfortable, has all of the basics you need

Comfortable stay. Kettle and mini fridge provided. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate available. Fan provided in room. Good storage for cases under bed. Ironing facilities. Towels included. Just off the main high street, able to walk down to the lake within ten minutes.

Very little space. It’s listed as a small room but is even smaller in person than it looks on the photos. Suitable for one person but not two. The bathroom sink is so small it’s hard to use! Listed as luxury but isn’t, sorry but it was overpriced.

Short and sweet

It was in a very good location, and it had everything we needed in a room for a night or two. Bed was comfortable; there were snacks, coffee, tea and water provided; there was a smart tv and we were able to watch Netflix; we had no problem with our WiFi connection; all the equipment and furnishings were new. I think our favourite part was the shower.

The room was really small and there wasn’t much space to move around. All you could really do was lie down, or take a shower. The sink was really small too. If you’re a bit claustrophobic, you might want to get a bigger room. But for how small the space is, they made the most out of the room.

Cute and cosy little stay

Nice central location, very close to bars and restaurants. Big bed in a tiny room but we managed fine for 3 nights as a couple. Bonus of a private little outside terrace area with a tv! Fantastic shower, a little fridge, nice toiletries and a good tea/coffee station. TV and WiFi worked fine for us. Easy to get in and out with no key to worry about (door codes). Loads of local info sent by owners. We were very happy with our cosy little stay.

The bed was a little soft for me but that’s just personal preference. A couple of coat hooks on the wall by the front door and a little shelf in the bathroom for toothbrushes etc would be a helpful. Also a doormat by the back door inside would be useful, for wet shoes coming in from terrace. We almost ran out of toilet roll as there was only one for 3 days, so maybe some more left out would be good. Little things that would make life easier - but we had no real complaints!

We did not end up staying and left early.

The property was modern.

Upon arrival our door was open and the handle did not work properly upon leaving, did not feel too safe as worries about the door. The shower was very intimate and not good for sharing with friends or family. We also left early due to noise from the neighbours (not the owners fault) but was very noisy!

Great location, spotlessly clean. Tea / coffee unexpected bonus and private outdoor space great for a chill out. Perfect for a one or two night stay. Clear information from hosts on how to access. Will book again if visiting Bowness again
