Great stay with friendly staff!
Very accommodating staff and comfy beds! Rooms were quiet and the location was great! Parking in the courtyard was convenient.
There was a minor misunderstanding about how many beds were required, but this seems to have been on Booking.com, and not on the hotel. The staff was very accommodating and worked it out for us.

It is a good place to stay for one night, especially if it is not hot outside and you speak German.
It was a spacious, clean room with comfortable beds, a nice shower and bathroom. Once the staff arrived they were helpful and polite, even calling us a cab on our day to leave.
It had no air conditioning, and it was extremely hot. It also lacked hooks for towels. The check in was terrible because no one was there to greet us. It took 15 minutes for someone to travel to the hotel to check us in. They did not speak English or have any signs in English, so that was a struggle.

The welcome was very warm.
If someone wants to have an experience like in a movie this is the place to stay. Out of this world.
The room was tiny, uncomfortable with neon lighting, it was sparse like in a monastery but with kitsch and many patched up bits. The staircase is steep and a lot for carrying luggage.

we did not stay here!!!! got to hotel late, due to delayed trains and hotel closed. didnt allow us to check in. A cleaning lady from restaurant (i think) couldnt help us other than to say it was too late. website said different time than what she told us. No one could help us. very dissappointed as i had to sleep on a floor that nite.

Quirky hotel with genuine staff and a very good restaurant with local food.
Location is very convenient and in one of the more lively parts of Mannheim. The staff/owners are genuinely good people. They don't speak much of any English but they make it work and mean well.
Slightly better cleanliness in the bathrooms. It's very loud at night but that's not the fault of the hotel, it's just how this part of Mannheim is.

Overall , a nice few days exploring Mannheim.
The hotel was fairly close to the City Centre and only a bit further to the train station. All within easy walking distance. Nice size room with a comfortable bed and good shower.

Very convenient location, only a few minutes from the Capitol - if you attend a concert or some other event there. Only fifteen minutes by tram from the central train station and the city centre. Very friendly staff, very helpful. Nice breakfast.
WIFI did not work because too many people were using it. TV did not work. Tiny bathroom. That's it.

Good value, clean, basic city centre hotel
Hotel Memo is a very handy place to stay if you're visiting an event at Alte Feuerwache. It's also just a 10 minutes walk over the river into the city centre. Also tram lines there too.
My room (205) was spacious but spartan with 2 well-separated single beds.
There was no traffic noise even with the window open.
The bathroom was clean and fully functional, but dated.
Wifi worked fine for me - streaming audio.
Not many convenient power sockets in the room - an extension cable with several sockets would fix that.
The LCD TV was v small, not very visible from 1 bed, and only a few working channels - but who wants to watch anyway?!
Parking is probably difficult - I parked 10 mins walk away at the west end of the University Klinik parkplatz - €6 for 24 hours, might be full in the morning.

There were good rooms, but a distinction happened I think and they gave me a bad low-ceilinged room on the last floor of the hotel!The rooms were not like the pictures on Booking!

The bed was very comfortable, and the cafe cappucino was lovely.
We ended up taking the train and a taxi at the last minute as the hotel does not have parking available, and did not respond to my request through Booking.com when I asked that they recommend a safe public parking lot. So, we decided on public transport and were happy with that decision.

Le personnel était très gentil, souriant et attentionné. La chambre était très bien agencée, les lits confortables.

Eine Nacht kann man rumbringen, entspricht nicht dem Standard vergleichbarer Hotels in Mannheim
Sauberkeit, im Schlafraum, das gute Frühstück sowie das freundliche und bemühtes Personal. Auch die Lage ist sehr gut und verkehrsgünstig.Guter Fernseh nach neustem technischen Standard
Gebucht haben wir das Deluxe Doppel-/Zweibettzimmer, die Beschreibung passt nicht zu dem Zimmer das wir erhalten haben wie beschrieben: Holz oder Parkettböden, Sofas, Extralange Betten usw. . Das Zimmer ist deutlich in die Jahre gekommen und weist zahlreiche Mängel auf. Besonders das Bad benötigt dringend eine Renovierung: offene gerissene Silikonfugen, alte Heizkörper, kein Toilettenpapierhalter, Risse in den Fliesen, abblätternde Farbe an der Holzdecke, beschädigte und alte Kunststoffteile mit Brandflecken sowie Schimmel in der Dusche/Badewanne/Vorhang. Auch das Zimmer zeigt Abnutzungsspuren, wie aufgequollenes und beschädigtes Laminat mit fehlenden Ecken, Türrahmen beschädigt.Die Einrichtung wirkt zusammengewürfelt und unpraktisch – z. B. eine Nachttischlampe ohne Steckdose, zwei Einzelbetten mit Rollen, sehr grelles und blendendes Deckenlicht. Eine Nachtischlampe ist funsellicht, und eine kann wegender fehlenden Steckdose nicht genutzt werden.
Die Zimmerausstatung und größe entspricht nicht den Darstellungen auf Booking.com und insgesamt fehlt es an zeitgemäßem Komfort. Die Zimmertür bietet keinen Schallschutz, wodurch man nachts Lärm aus dem Flur und Treppenhaus wahrnimmt. Trotz teilweise ruhiger Hoflage und geschlossenen Fenster und Rolläden sind Geräusche von der Klimaanlage im Hof sehr störend. Der Zugang zum Hotel ist über den Hof mit einer schlecht schliesenden Tür zu betreten.
Wir haben das Hotel wegen der Nähe zum Kapitol gewählt, werden das nächste mal dann doch lieber 1000 schritte zu einem anderen Hotel wählen, zumal auch noch das Restaurant geschlossen obwohl laut Angaben beim Buchen das Restaurant ist in der Zeit des Aufenthalts geöffnet sei. Alle umliegenden Restaurant waren ausgebucht. Kartenlesegerät defekt. Insgesamt stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht, da der Zustand des Hotels deutlich unter dem Niveau liegt, das man für den Preis erwarten kann, nahmhafte Hotels wie z.B. Motel One, 1000 m weiter, sind nicht teurer.

Preiswerte und sehr herzliche Unterkunft verkehrsgünstig in der Nähe der alten Feuerwache gelegen
Das Zweibettzimmer war angenehm groß. Das Zimmer war zum Hof raus und daher ruhig, allerdings hat man bei geöffnetem Fenster ein Gebläse gehört. Es hat uns aber nicht gestört, da es eher herbstliche Temperaturen hatte und wir das Fenster zum Schlafen geschlossen hatten.
Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Leicht irritierend war, dass Rollen unter dem Bett montiert waren. Man durfte sich also nicht mit zu viel Schwung aufs Bett legen, sonst ist es weggerollt. :-D
Die Lage ist perfekt um die alte Feuerwache, Capitol oder die Neckarstadt allgemein zu besuchen. Da die Haltestelle Alte Feuerwache ca. 180m entfernt ist, kommt man sowieso überall schnell hin.
Es gibt einige Parkplätze im Hof, allerdings sind diese recht eng geschnitten, eher nichts für große Fahrzeuge.
Zu Guter Letzt: Das Hotelpersonal machte einen wirklich sehr herzlichen Eindruck! Wir kommen gerne wieder. :-)
Allgemein müsste das Bad mal renoviert werden. Von der weiß gestrichenen Holzdecke, hing die Farbe lose herunter. Der Klorollenhalter ist abgefallen. Auf dem Spülkasten der Toilette, sah man einige Brandflecken, wohl von Zigarettenstummeln.
Allerdings hat das Zimmer wirklich überhaupt nicht nach Rauch gerochen und davon abgesehen hat alles im Bad funktioniert wie es soll.
