Clean and spacious room in the center of Mannheim Quadrat

The location is perfect - in the Quadrat - next to the main shopping / going out street. The room was very spacious and very clean. The night was quiet - as long as you close the window. The bathroom was also very nice and spacious and clean. Everything was perfect. I loved it.

Great value, comfortable and centrally-located charming hotel.

The location is directly in the middle of downtown Mannheim and an easy walk to all points of interest. The room was large and very well appointed, including a small kitchenette with coffee/tea service. The rooms have been recently renovated with new amenities and large flatscreen tv‘s.

The hotel side is a bit of an afterthought to the attached restaurant, so there‘s not really a separate reception area. The friendly staff easily overcome this, though.

Great place to stay in Mannheim

Well-located hotel in Mannheim. It's the lodging above a popular and well-regarded restaurant so the street has a nice lively feel. I wasn't bothered by any noise from the restaurant (I was on the third floor and the sound insulation from the windows is very good). About noise however - the only thing is that there are building works going on across the street (this was in late March 2023) which might bother you if you're there on a weekday and want to sleep past 8am. But it didn't really bother me since I was awake before then anyway. The room was large and clean, as was the bathroom. It feels newly refurbished.

Maybe it would be useful to have a sign in English on the door saying that check-in was in the restaurant. I think there was a sign but it was only in German (as far as I remember) and I was initially confused about where I should go.

ich komme bestimmt wieder

Es war alles sehr gut, obwohl mitten in der Stadt waren die Zimmer leise und sehr modern eingerichet. Im Haus war eine gemüdlich gut bürgerliche und gut besuchte Gaststätte und die umliegenden Straßen laden zu schlendern ein. Eine bessere Lage in der City Mannheims ist schwer zu finden. Der absolute Mittelpunkt.

Es fehlt die Möglichkeit bei Anreise vor 13:00 die Koffer schon unterzustellen und es stört, wenn die Anmeldung im durcheinander am Tresenbereich erfolgt. Gerade, wenn man mitten zur Essenszeit ankommt und nicht weis, wo man sich überhaupt hinstellen kann. Aber alle Personen sind sehr freundlich.

Gutes zentral gelegenes Hotel mit schönen Zimmern

Zentral gelegen mit sauberen Zimmer mit moderner Ausstattung. Freundlichem Personal, was uns auf Anfrage auch eine Stunde später auschecken lassen hat.

Parkplatz Situation in den Quadraten etwas schwierig und Parkhaus was man als Hotelgast nutzen kann, war bei unserer Anreise aufgrund des Weihnachtsmarktes belegt.

Alter Simpl als Gasthaus und Hotel sind auch ohne Frühstück eine gute Wahl

Es gibt zwar kein Frühstück, dafür gehört das Hotel zu einem sehr guten gut bürgerlichem Lokal mit tollem Service-Personal. Und natürlich leckerem Essen und frisch gezapftem Bier bzw. große Weinauswahl. Um die Ecke eine tolle Kaffeerösterei mit einer tollen Frühstückauswahl und tollem Ambiente. Da fällt es nicht ins Gewicht, dass das Hotel ohne Frühstück ist. Und Zeit bis zum Auschecken bleibt auch: erst um11 Uhr mussten wir auschecken gerne wieder!

Sehr schönes und entspannten Aufenthalt.

Ich hatte das Zimmer Nr. 3. im 2. OG. Es war sehr gemütlich, und obwohl es zur Straßenseite lag, war es erstaunlich ruhig. Alles war sehr sauber. Im Zimmer gab es einen kleinen, aber geräumigen Kühlschrank, einen Wasserkocher sowie Tee, Kaffee und Zucker. Das Bett war groß und sehr bequem.

Aus meiner wahrnehmung nichts herausragendes und für maximal 1 nacht geeignet.

War kein frühstückshotel. Lage sehr zentral. Zimmer war sauber, matratze und bettzeug und duschequipment waren in ordnung.

Keine frühe frühstücksmöglichkeit in unmittelbarer umgebung. Duschabfluß ohne deckel. Die dosenmilch (2 verschiedene gerann im instantkaffee auf dem zimmer. Keine anleitung für den fernseher. Dieser war aber eingestellt auf gehörlose (also text im bild) und sehbehinderte (also zusätzlich zum text noch kommentiertes bild). Aufgrund der fehlenden betriebsanleitung konnte ich zwar die eingesprochene bildbeschreibung entfernen, nicht aber den text im bild. Ich habe andere hotels, ebenso zentrumsnahe gefunden, die weniger kosten und weniger lieblos wirken.

Waren zum wiederholten Male hier. War wieder eine gute Wahl. Zimmer war geräumig, mit Küchenzeile und Bad, sauber. Die zweite Bettwäsche war im Schrank. Sehr praktisch, im EG gibt es ein sehr gutes Restaurant. Sehr leckeres Essen. Sehr zentral gelegen. Es gibt zwei Parkhäuser in 5 Minuten Gehzeit in der nahen Umgebung. Viele alternative Ausgehmöglichkeiten in direkter Umgebung. Eine Shopping Mall ist auch nahe gelegen.

Das Zimmer lag sehr zentral. Es war groß, vorhanden waren Dusche, Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher, Tisch, Stuhl, Ventilator, Klimaanlage, Aufzug. Ein- und Auschecken war unkompliziert.

Freundlicher Empfang. Total saubere renovierte Unterkunft! die Kitchenette mit Kühlschrank und Wasserkocher optimal zweckmäßig, Kaffee und Tee als Willkommensgruß.... Das Bad hell und die Dusche sehr komfortabel... bequemes Bett.. Du hast alles,was du brauchst... S-Bahn nur paar Schritte, mitten im belebten pulsierenden Zentrum, zentraler geht es nicht, rundum ein Glücksgriff!!

Hatte wirklich nichts zu bemängeln.
