A charming, retro-style hotel with nostalgic charm.

Nice old style hotel. Friendly and helpful staff.Good breakfast. Price is ok for what you get. I always stay there when I am in town.

A cosy hotel in a good location for the main sights in Mannheim.

It's a cosy hotel with a nice atmosphere. We were only there for one night, but if we'd been there longer, we'd definitely have taken advantage of the various downstairs spaces for relaxing.

Given that the temperature went down to -4C on the night we were there, it would have been nice to have had more than one medium-weight duvet on the bed. Most hotels supply extra blankets, but there was nothing in our room. We survived by turning the heating up to maximum (and lifting up the curtains, which covered the radiators), but it wasn't ideal.

Has a good location

Parking is a challenge, to say the least. Parking description is misleading, as it implies that there is parking available. It is available, at a cost. And it is off-site, with a terrible steep and narrow ramp, and way too narrow parking spaces. The garage was not clean, the steps to the hotel were wet and with leaves, which made it hazardous to carry the suitcases. The elevator was out of order.

A room walking distance from the train station

Walkable from train station and there is a kettle in the room, but without tea or coffee with it. There was free shampoo in the shower. Overall a standard hotel room.

The wifi network is not secure and the design of the hotel is rather old fashioned.

It's fine... but not the breakfast.

Staff were good, room ok but showing signs of wear and tear. Locked room for bikes available.

Breakfast was very expensive and poor. Though the room was cheap the breakfast was €15, so I was expecting something good. It wasn't, little choice and awful coffee. Go to a bakery and save some cash or choose a better hotel. Interior decor of the hotel is strange, and the whole hotel looks a little worn out. Wouldn't stay here again.

Due to traffic and less parking options it is difficult to find a parking spot. Room to the back are quiet and ok. We hadf no breakfast.

Staff was friendly.

The hotel rooms are quite dirty and old. Creepy atmosphere and not sure the bedsheets were clean enough as it kept itching me all night. It's quite close to the city center - 10mins. Wifi was weak so not convenient for business. Breakfast was okay but not incredible.

Disappointing

location, cleanliness, comfort were few thongs we liked about the hotel.

we did not like staff opening the door and reminding us the checkout time constantly, we get it, we were a bit late for the 11 checkout but wouldn’t a simple call suffice rather than delving into the room uninvited. I wouldn’t recommend the hotel unless staff attitude changes towards guests.
