Nice hotel with good breakfast. Lobby smells like cigarettes

Breakfast, junior suite, location. Tram stop located in front of hotel. Plenty of parking around hotel for free.

Staff are arrogant at reception and not really welcoming, staff in breakfast are very nice, no ironing service. Smoking area In front of the door which makes the lobby smell constantly of cigarettes, horrible

Some furniture in the room was old and squeaky. Having a tea/coffee maker in the room would have been nice. Also, please consider providing disposable cups at the breakfast for the coffee to-go.

Modern, clean and very comfortable stay. Recommended!

We had a wonderful and very comfortable stay as a family of three with our 2-year-old. The hotel is extremely child-friendly: the staff welcomed our son with a small toy, a free cot was already set up in our room, and children’s plates and cutlery were readily available at breakfast. I was especially impressed when a staff member overheard me mention that I needed a plaster/band-aid and quietly brought one without me even asking. Very thoughtful service! The rooms were modern, spotlessly clean, and the beds very comfortable and luxurious. Breakfast was outstanding, with a wide variety of options including a coffee machine, artisan breads, yoghurts, oat milks, hot dishes (scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, sausages, roast tomatoes, beans), a cereal bar with many toppings and nuts, a fresh fruit bar, and even a salad corner with guacamole, dips, and salads. The location in Mannheim was also very convenient.

Unfortunately, our experience at the restaurant downstairs was disappointing. The waitress was unfriendly, bordering on rude, which dampened the atmosphere for our group of 10. Service was painfully slow and the food itself was average. When we shared this feedback, the waitress seemed surprised and suddenly changed her tone, and explained that she was the only one working while the restaurant was also handling many room service orders.

Highly recommend stay!

Everything! The rooms are big, clean , with great A/C ! The bathroom with the bathtub are gigantic and really well equipped. The beds are super comfy , the staff is friendly and the breakfast is really good! Location is good, close to the Luisa park and 10/20min from the city center.

Not much, the shower doors leaked a little bit and the hotel is next to a gas station do not the best view but everything else compensated for it!

Okish overall if you don’t pay to eat something good in the morning.

The stuff is very kind as always and the rooms are clean.

They changed the breakfast. Now the breakfast has a very poor choice and if you want an omelette or a fried egg you need to order and wait for it. This might not be a problem if you travel for pleasure and not for work when you have a strict schedule. I really advise them to bring back the good breakfast and get rid of this cost reduction approach as it looks bad and is a big minus.

The bed sheets and linning are not that comfy. Maybe a nicer softener scent to the bed lining would help. Additionally, our bed was basically two separate beds joined together which was not nice when we were trying to sleep together.

Comfortable, quality rooms, but expensive breakfast and parking

Comfortable, quiet room and very nicely decorated. Fantastic modern shower with hot water, nice toiletries. Modern lamps, useful power outlets near the bed. Good double bed. Everything very clean. Blind curtains to block the light in the morning. The price for the room per night is acceptable for the quality and comfort you get, unless you include pay for breakfast and parking. In that case, I'd go somewhere else.

The breakfast prices were so high that we just skipped it. We were two people but were given just one card to the room. The room lights and the elevator only works with cards, so I had to pick up my husband at the reception when he left the room, because I couldn't stay in the dark room and give my card to him, and he could not get back with the lift without the card... Parking overnight is not free, but actually very expensive, so we parked on the street somewhere and walk in the cold. There is no place to stop a car or taxi in front of the hotel's reception, so you cannot drop your luggage near. I don't know how people with walking disabilities manage it. The reception could have two people but at the checkout only one was there and I waited around 10 minutes only to give my card away.

Review for overnight stay

Room was very nice, bed comfortable. Location was great for the SAP Arena. Great that u can use the strassenbahn to get there. Breakfast buffet had a good selection and provided alternative milk option and thankfully not just soya milk. A real plus !!

Only one barman working in hotel bar on return from the event so resulted in queue. No non alcoholic beer available. No draft beer all bottles. Hot buffet side of breakfast was luke warm not hot, which spoilt an otherwise great breakfast selection. Fire alarm went off throughout hotel telling you to evacuate room. We responded as if it was a real fire and left the building by the nearest exit, only to find out that it was just a practice. It would have been nice to have been warned of thus in advance.

A business hotel without Wi-Fi? The Wi-Fi connection does not function during the entire period we stay and all the compensation we get is two drinks? Also, the fire alarm rang at night and there are no staff come to give any instructions during and after. It’s really not professional at all in face of emergency.
