Good for people travelling for work as there was one kitchen table with bar stools and another table with two chairs, and also a desk lamp that you could move. The kitchenette included everything you need, including a nespresso machine. The location was also perfect.

Very good value for money, no problems whatsoever, I totally recommend it!

The room was nice and not too small. The design was quite fancy! Location was great. And the instructions I got for the check-in were excellent, as was the staff responsiveness per email. I reccommend Boarding House Mannheim!

Better than expected

The place was super clean, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom spacious and with great lighting and ventilation. Cleaning came twice a week and left the place brand as new. If I return to Mannheim I’ll stay here for sure again.

Excellent accommodation but the administration needs work.

My wife and I have stayed in the Boarding House before and have always enjoyed it. We had a booking last year which was affected by the pandemic and we found them to be very flexible and supportive in initially changing the booking and when, sadly, we had to cancel it. As a special treat we took a penthouse on this visit and found the apartment to be spacious, comfortable and very well equipped with excellent views to the wasserturm meeting all our needs and expectations. We arrived when the reception was unmanned but the instructions for getting the key from the lockbox were sent well in advance and entry was uneventful.

There were no instructions on how to use the safe which resulted in our passports and other things being locked in. However, when notified the on-site staff were able to resolve this quickly. The cooker and oven are quite sophisticated pieces of equipment but there are no written instructions on how to use them. I informed the hotel by message of a significant issue in the apartment on the evening we arrived. It could have been resolved within an hour or two on the Monday morning but it was only dealt with three days later when I told them that I would deal with directly it if they didn't.

Tolles Apartment für alle die beim Reisen mehr Platz & Eigenständigkeit bevorzugen

Tolles Apartment mit allem was man für einen kurzen oder längeren Aufenthalt benötigt, vor allem wenn man mehr Platz bevorzugt und gerne die Möglichkeit hat sich selbst eine Kleinigkeit zuzubereiten oder aufzuwärmen. Es befindet sich auch ein Klima-/Wärmegerät mit Abluftschlauch im Apartment, das ich während meines Aufenthaltes zwar nicht benötigt habe, aber für zu heiße/kalte Tage bestimmt von Vorteil ist. Mein Apartment hatte auch einen kleinen Balkon, wobei ich diesen nicht genutzt habe, da er sich direkt über der belebten Straße befand. Für Autoreisende gibt es die Möglichkeit einen Stellplatz in der eigenen Garage dazu zu buchen, weiters soll es im Untergeschoss die Möglichkeit geben Wäsche zu waschen und zu trocknen. Würde das Apartment erneut buchen; leider sind die Preise fürs nächste Jahr ums doppelte gestiegen, weshalb es für mich nicht mehr in Frage kommt.

- Fernseher hat leider noch keinen Internet-/Streamingzugang über den man Zugriff auf die eigenen Konten hat oder die Möglichkeit auf Screensharing - (Decken)Beleuchtung könnte etwas heller sein - Alleinreisende erhalten nur eine Zugangskarte, was etwas nervig ist, wenn man nur kurz das Zimmer verlassen möchte, da die Karte auch für die Aktivierung von Strom benötigt wird und man somit immer alles abschalten muss, da man ja sonst nicht mehr ins Zimmer kommt - Duschkabine war nicht ganz dicht, weshalb immer wieder Wasser ausgetreten ist - Geschirr ist auf genau zwei Personen abgezählt... 2 Teller, 2 Tassen, 2 Gabeln,... wäre toll wenn man etwas mehr zur Verfügung hätte - Schränke sind alle per Druck zu öffnen, was leider nicht bei allein reibungslos funktioniert

Schönes Studio in guter, zentraler Lage Ich wurde sehr herzlich empfangen

Ein sehr schönes Zimmer/ Studio mit kleiner Küche. Toll fand ich das Bügeleisen mit vorhandenem Bügelbrett. Die Lage war ideal, da ich auf einem Konzert im Congress Center Rosengarten eingeladen war. Zur Arbeit war es in die andere Richtung auch nicht weit. Die Lage ist sehr zentral und direkt daneben befindet sich ein Rewe und Pennymarkt. Das Bad fand ich schön geräumig für eine Person.

Ich hätte mir gewünscht, dass es zu den Kaffeepads auch Milch und Zucker gibt. Aber ich verstehe, dass es bei den Temperaturen nicht so einfach wäre mit der Milch. Zudem wäre Duschgel im Bad schön gewesen. Aber ich hatte etwas dabei. Das Zimmer war etwas heiß und das Kühlgerät konnte ich nicht auf sant und leise einstellen.
