Okay but see comments about the key code room entry

(1) The 6-digit key code to enter the room! I had difficulty entering the room on several occasions. After pressing the code, you then have to - very quickly - turn a round handle, which can be challenging! It is simply a terrible system and will discourage me from staying at the hotel again, despite the positive aspects that I have listed. (2) I found myself in a 'Smoking Room'...there was a stale smell of tobacco smoke

I slept outside on my first night seemingly my booking wasn't scheduled for the date that were confirmed in my emailed Although the staff was nice and helpful. nothing special was done regarding being outside for the first night. no Apology, just rigid, inflexible robotic German bidding by the rules. As if it was my fault.

Absolutely chaotic experience.

Absolutely chaotic experience. I arrived at 3:00 PM for check-in, only to find the hotel completely deserted. The reception area was locked, with a printed notice saying reception opened at 3 PM – ironic, considering no one showed up until well after that time. No apology, no explanation – just a shrug and a key. The room itself? Basic at best. There is nothing remotely “luxury” or “boutique” about it. For £140 per night, I at least expected a bottle of water or some thoughtful touch, but no – not even the bare minimum. The room was uncomfortably hot, and when I asked about air conditioning, the receptionist casually told me there was none and that I should just open the window. As for breakfast – don’t expect much. A few tired pieces of fruit, boiled eggs, and an overwhelming amount of bread. If you’re lactose intolerant or vegetarian, brace yourself. Milk and water round off the “buffet.” Overall, completely underwhelming. This hotel is riding on a name and delivering none of what it promises. I wouldn’t return, nor would I recommend it to anyone expecting a proper boutique hotel experience.

Great location, the rooms are basic but large. Definitely worth getting a balcony room. Much larger and the view from the balcony is great. Worth the little extra.

The location and the price. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good.

The doors are so thin, I heard the couple down the hall having sex at 1:40 am. The sink in the bathroom is cracked (room 53) and should be replaced. I entered my code wrong only once and the electronic lock was blocked. if this had happened at night when no one is at the desk, I had no idea how long the lock would be “gesperrt”.

Great value and location, will defintely stay again when in the area.

It is in a great location and the parking across the street isn’t too expensive. I found it easy to navigate around that part of Mannheim on foot; however, it is very close to bus stops and taxi locations.

The street is rather noisy and you can’t completely block out the street lights with the curtain. The heat wouldn’t turn off so I had to sleep with the window cracked.

One chair is half-broken it could be danger to someone that don't know that because it looks like all right before you try to sit on it. It's a little bit uninsulated from a loud from another rooms.

Tram outside the door

I chose it for the central location, having not visited the city before

the tram was passing right outside the door, noisy all the time. in addition the insulation was very poor and I could hear people simply talking in the neighbouring rooms. Parking was extremely difficult and the roadworks around were causing massive congestions. The room was dark and light was not bright enough. difficult to do any work.

Price.. was the cheapest and quite central. Parking just behind the building. Very close to highsteet. Staff were friendly.

Just in front of Tram on one of the main shoppingstreets so VERY loud… hotel even provides earbuds (that says it all). Hotel next to a ‘casino’ spielbank and the area does not feel safe, yet entrance was always open and anybody from outside could access the hotelfloors. System to access the rooms with codes is not handy and room doors do not seem very sturdy. Our hotelroom stank of cigarette smoke and we found ashes in the bathroom which were not even cleaned although very visible. Rooms look much nicer on pictures, in real it all seems done in a rush and not cleaned properly. Almost no soundproofing, you can hear almost everything outside and inside the hotel. Only curtains in the bedroom so if you like it dark, bring eyemask. Bathroom had big bay window with curtains of blinds, just an opaque film.. be assured everybody outside can see you inside with the lights on. Breakfast is ok but if you are a big eater, if not you pay less in any bakery outside.

Totally I think this is not hotel!… when you book the room they send you code,you open hotel doors with it and your room dor also..there is no reception…((( there is no phone to call someone for something..I stayed 2 nights there…for second day they told me i hve to change my room,i changed…and i lived the hotel with my family to city center,when we camed back,we only one towel! and one duvet! i freezed hall night!!!… WC dora wasn’t closing.. couldn’t not take shower when my little girl was sleeping… so with one word my moneys went for nothing only just sleeping(….
