We felt like in a Disney movie

The stay at the hotel was very good, the room was well furnished and clean and the aesthetic of the building is very pretty. The staff was absolutely great, friendly and courteous. There was always someone to help us or give us advices or just to have a small talk. I recommend them greatly

The two mattresses stuck together to make one big bed was a bit inconvenient but that's all

Great value for your money! Nice hotel, well managed, clean rooms, friendly staff and awesome breakfast!

The WiFi speed is not great. If you need more bandwidth for video conference or similar, bring backup solutions.

Nice room and good service, happy to come back again

Very good service from the staff, help to take luggage and give advices for visits, also room is very clean and has air condition!

Breakfast too expensive for what you get Also the cost of electric charging is more then what our car showed, paid 42 euros in total for parking (14.5 euro parking plus 27.5 euros charging)

Quality and Tradition

Very high quality furnishings and equipment in the hotel, made in a traditional style. It is obvious that the owners and staff of the hotel try very hard to make guests feel comfortable there. The room for one was quite spacious and overlooked a quiet courtyard

Nowadays people are very different and not everyone likes an expensive hearty hotel breakfast every day, so an electric kettle, mini coffee maker and a small refrigerator would not take up much space, but would significantly add comfort. Let this be my recommendation to the hotel.

Super clean and welcoming owners

We had a great stay at this hotel. It was spotlessly clean, and the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. The hotel seems to be family-run, and during our stay, the owners—two brothers—were personally taking care of the reception, which added a very warm and welcoming touch. They seemed genuinely passionate about providing a good experience. The location is also very convenient, just a few minutes from the city center and easy to reach. Highly recommended for a clean, friendly, and well-located stay.

The beds were quite firm, although the sofa bed had an excellent mattress and was surprisingly comfortable. Also, the elevator stops between floors, which could pose a challenge for guests with mobility issues or using a wheelchair.

Better choices were available

The staff were really kind and friendly. The room was okay overall. Breakfast was limited but acceptable.

The room was too warm, and no air conditioning was provided. I had to keep the window open, but it was still warm and noisy. Noise from outside, especially around 6 AM when breakfast preparations started, made it hard to sleep. The rating at the time of booking was unusually high (around 10), which seemed suspicious. The location was far from tourist attractions and the train station.

Room is very comfy and big Staff is very nice, advising about the city, restaurants... the waitress for the breakfast is also super nice. Great experience

Exceptional

- The staff were amazing. I had to arrive later than the check-in time due to issues with train delays and a long trip to get there. They were understanding and waited for me. Very friendly staff who also showed me around and explained how everything in the hotel works. - The design of the hotel (especially the lobby) was very classic and i liked it. - Room had all advertised amenities and everything you might expect like toiletries. Bed was comfy, and the shower was spacious. - Multiple public transportation options around the hotel that take you to points of interest. - Room soundproofing was quite good. Overall, it was very satisfactory, and I would happily stay again if I am around Mannheim.

Very clean!

I stayed just for one night and I didn't have any particular wishes and even didn't have breakfast at the hotel because I needed to leave for the train station. The stuff at Hotel Mack was very friendly and helpful. The room was super clean, I even mentioned it during check out.

Fabulous hotel with great hospitality.

We felt as if we visited a mansion of a German relative (whom we don't have) The hotel is full of history but also with modern comfort. The room was big, clean, and very pretty. "Wow" was the first word that came out when we entered the room. The gentleman who runs the hotel with his brother was so kind and attentive. We parked our car in a gated garage which used to be a horse stable a century ago.

I liked the kindness at the reception desk and the possibility to park the car in the garage of the hotel. The bed was confortable.

The moquette is everywhere, the bedroom is not so large and has no frigobar. The breakfast is pretty poor with discount-style products available only. No cappuccio or espresso available.
