Gorgeous peaceful location, but very convenient for the train station. Hosts were warm, friendly, welcoming and very accommodating, including their lovely dog. Our room was very clean and comfortable, a lovely size and the bathroom was a decent size with choice of a large shower or large bathtub. We really appreciated the home made flapjack and the tea/coffee making facilities. We appreciated even more the use of a fan. We had a great stay. Fully recommend.

Breakfast was excellant, location was perfect, bed was comfortable.
Needing a little bit of TLC, and maybe an lounge chair in the room.

One of the best accommodations I've ever stayed in. The room was comfortable and spacious, the homemade breakfast was delicious, and Alan and Nicky are among the best hosts I've had the pleasure of meeting in many years of travel. Highly recommended for a quick escape from the city and to enjoy the charm of the Oxfordshire countryside.
It’s not something I disliked per se, but be aware that the property is only accessible by car. If you don’t have your own (as was our case), you’ll need to rely on regional taxis and fares can be a bit unpredictable. That said, Alan and Nicky were always kind and helpful in assisting us with booking rides.
