Will probably repeat on my next stay

Really nice room with an onsuite bathroom. It had a kitchen sink, kettle, mugs, a small fridge and a microvawe. The bed was king size and comfy. There is a petrol station just next with a 24h convenience store.

As I stayed for nearly a week I missed a table and a chair in the room. There was also no hooks in the bathroom for the towel or wardrobe to hang some clothes. Not an issue but it would've been nice to have them

It’s a contractors room yet there was a family of what sounded like 30 people that arrived. The noise was crazy! In the hall ways shouting slamming doors arguing. Maybe keep families in the family section because as contractors we work long hours and wake up super early.

Kept on asking to the staff to fix the heaters, simply found them with standard answer "it should work" and it never worked despite the staff checking it. There was no remedy they provided or changed the room Then asked them for an extra blanket which they said is not available Asked room service to kindly clean the room which was never touched for a single day in my 5 nights stay. Cannabis smell rampant throughout the stay. I wanted to change the stay to another place but was doing night duties and was close to the hospital i was contracted to work in. Really poor experience !

Booked last minute at 11pm, was great that reception is staffed all night. Room spotless and comfy, shower excellent. Didn't use the fridge or microwave but they seemed clean and new.

It would have been nice if heater in bedroom as well as the bathroom ..and theres 2 tempture controls on wall..which was bit confusing . Maybe put simple info on how to work them

The room was obviously relatively new so very clean. The 'apartment' type room for this price was excellent.

I had a somebody running up and down past my room and slamming the door. I think he was doing his exercises but with no concern for the other customers. I did report this.

My stay was good and it met my needs for three nights.

I was very happy with the room. It was clean and had everything I needed for my stay. The staff were friendly, polite and very helpful.

The room had double glazed windows but I need to sleep with the window open a bit at night. The noise from the road traffic was not good but the place was very quiet otherwise.

Didn’t stay in the room that was advertised. Ended up with 2 beds in a room 7ft wide. Not really acceptable for the price. This is a single room with 2 bed squeezed in.

Makes you appreciate the chain hotels more

The single bed mattress was comfortable. The duvet provided a suitable sleeping temperature and the bed linen was white, fresh and clean, as was the bath towel. The actual location of the rooms were further along the West Wycombe Road towards town, away from the Buckingham Hotel reception, otherwise known as Contractors Guest House. There was a small kettle with tea bags, dried coffee, sugar and little cartons of cows' milk (prefer plant-based). A double lock on my room door gave me an added feeling of security.

The room had little character and was small. The walls are thin and I felt too physically close to the occupant next door. I could barely use the narrow sink in the bathroom, because the glass shelf above was too close. The sealant around the shower door looked grubby. An awful lot of cold water is wasted in the shower before heated water eventually comes through. The same key that unlocked the main door to the building was also used to unlock my room door - does that mean that anyone able to get in through the main door could use their key to access my room?

Nothing, it was completely nasty!

Everything, everywhere was thoroughly unclean. Booked a twin room, arrived to find a single mattress on the floor with no sheets, pillow or covers. Pigs live in better conditions!!

The check-in/check-out process was easy enough, and there was sufficient parking. Microwave, sink, fridge and TV and en-suite which is more than I expected.

Noise from the people next door was quite loud as the walls were so thin. ‘Tired’ is the word I would use to describe the room and building, but it was clean enough.

Overall, my accommodation was good.

Location was very good and with the free parking makes my stay stress free. The bedroom was also clean.

The main entrance door needs to be repaired as you can’t lock it from inside and the kitchen and hallway could do with regular cleaning.
